About 11 months ago, I shared a review praising Dr. Kim and her amazing team. However, I recently had what I can only describe as the worst customer service experience of my life. I had made an appointment and, since I live an hour away, I decided to call ahead to confirm the time.
To my shock, the front desk informed me that my appointment was canceled without any prior notice—no voicemail or message whatsoever. I usually recommend Prime Dental for their skilled doctors, but the way they handle scheduling and customer service is just terrible. It seems they don’t fully understand how to provide a positive experience for their patients, or perhaps they just don’t care.

They change your appointments last minute, they will call you the day of your appointment to say they “double booked” when really they are picking and choosing between insurances. Very ignorant receptionist. The hygienist there, work on their own time . Don’t waste your time with this dentist.

This dentist office consistently leaves me in the dark about insurance issues, only informing me at the last minute. They are often slow to respond, causing unnecessary stress and uncertainty. I had a root canal done here, and two weeks after the procedure, I returned to express discomfort and sensitivity. A year later, with the same ongoing sensitivity, I was told I now need a retreatment.
Had they addressed my initial concerns when I first raised them, I believe I wouldn’t be in this situation. Unfortunately, I’m not the only one who has experienced neglect at this office, and it’s incredibly frustrating to feel ignored.

The place is very odd, I had been going there for a couple years. At first they were quick friendly and efficient. Then I went there once and hygienist was new and she was acting as if she was being rushed, nervous. She did her best to take her time and answer my questions but definitely seemed as if she was being rushed to push me out. Then the final straw was I waited a half an hour in the waiting room (others clients waiting too) no one told us there was a wait.
I remember one woman was waiting for her husband to get out and they told her it would be another hour and she was upset because she had to cancel an appointment. When I finally was put in a room, ended up waiting another 15 minutes. It was about to be an hour past my appointment time, so I went to the front desk to say something. Then a older hygienist who was working on someone's teeth told me to just sit and wait and she'd be right there. She came over cleaned my teeth abruptly, was very rude, and quick.
I felt terrible, then she went back to working on the other persons teeth, so clearly my teeth cleaning wasn't even done appropriately since she had to do it so quickly. I would not recommend this place anymore. I think they are trying to push as many appointments as possible and are no longer concerned with clients unless they are making money off you. No for cleanings.
