I’ve dealt with plenty of rude people in my time, but Lucy and this company are the worst of them all. As a previous practice manager for a different dental practice I can tell you that their billing and claims practices are nothing short of abhorrent, their customer service even worse. Went in to discuss a bill on my husband account, and was straight up lied to. I asked them to email consented treatment plans, and bills…didn’t get a thing. Then they told me they would call me back and nothing. Two days later, my husband gets a phone call from sweet Desiree saying Lucy called and left a voicemail. Lies. Lucy is about as honest as a politician during an election. Now let’s talk about their billing and claims. They have never seen my insurance group before.

They would have logged in to the provider website and clearly been able to see the last date of service and the frequencies for a particular service. They put it on a patient to know exactly when a service was done. He said he didn’t remember, all they had to do was log into the Northeast Delta Dental provider portal and see it. Well they didn’t because and I quote Lucy, “That’s not what we do here. ” They were told that he was unaware of the last time a procedure was done. They had several weeks to do that, and get a surprise bill for over $600. Again I am going to quote Lucy, “we don’t do predeterminations unless requested by a patient. ” Again what? Any of these statements should have prompted any competent office manager to submit a predetermination, I guess competency runs short in this office. Doesn’t give me much confidence in the doctor’s abilities either. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Advise to prospective patients. . run. . run away as fast as you can. It’s no wonder they’re losing patients left and right. Look forward to submitting ethics violations with the ADA, a complaint with the NH insurance department, and the Better Business Bureau.

Awful experience with this provider. The staff seemed so nice when I called to ask for specific services that my dentist could not provide. They assured me that my needs could be met with their dentists however needed to have my cleaning done first which my insurance covered. I agreed to the appointment. However after my cleaning the dentist gave me a referral because he could not accommodate my root canal. I had waisted my time so I have gone back to my dentist and her referral.

After this appointment I have received a bill for $153. For new patient exam. I did not get an exam and provided my own x-rays. I have tried talking to the office manager Lisa to no prevail. She refuses my calls. Does not return messages and when I attempt to visit her at the office I am told she is unavailable.

I just received my 2nd bill. I am left feeling this was a scam to get me in the office and force me into paying a charge I can do nothing about. Be warned this is a highly unprofessional and inconsiderate failing business that is only out for the money. Find a dental practice that cares about you. Gerber Dental is not the place!

I cannot recommend this dentist office enough! From the front desk staff, to the dental hygienist, to the dentist themselve.. they are all so pleasant and knowledgeable. They do a thorough job, and make sure to explain everything. I am not one to leave reviews, but this one is well deserved!
