Everyone was so helpful and kind from making the appointment to being scheduled for wisdom teeth removal. I have severe dental anxiety was in tears walking in the door Dr Bhargava was extremely kind understanding, explained everything made sure I was comfortable the process was painless and so much better than I could've imagined.

The assistants were kind explained after care and even kept my husband in the loop! Definitely will be returning for any future dental appointments!

Been here a few times now and each time receltion, hygienist, and dr Schulman have all been incredibly helpful and friendly. I hadn't been to the dentist in some time and everyone cared when they could tell I was extremely anxious, offered fun conversation to distract me and offered other things to help me be comfortable. I don't feel stressed going to the dentist now!

I have had good and bad experiences with this practice, but I likely will not be going back. I have not had any problems with the professionalism or kindness of their front desk staff. Most of the time they seem a bit scattered and stressed, which I understand. I have had some mild problems with contacting them over the phone, but nothing egregious. I had my wisdom teeth removed by them in 2020, and while the procedure and recovery went well, the hygienist or assistant(?) who accompanied the surgeon during my consult and surgery was rude and unprofessional when I asked in-depth questions about the procedure. She told me that I could eat directly after the procedure, even telling me that I could go get Taco Bell or other fast food a couple hours after my surgery. That is unbelievably dangerous and incorrect advice that I obviously did not follow. I have had two bad appointments in the past month. A filling came out during the week and they were able to get me in that day.

Thankfully I wasn't in almost any pain. I had to wait for 30 minutes for my appointment and 20 minutes after I was seated in the back, only for them to just "assess" the tooth and determine if I need a filling or not. My next appointment was a disorganized nightmare. They were severely understaffed and managed the situation horribly. I waited for an hour and a half in the waiting room. During my fillings, the dentist was good but kept bouncing back and forth between patients. I was regularly left alone for a "break" from the filling for 20+ minutes. There were at least two stretches of 30+ minutes. The entire appointment took four hours, which is completely ridiculous.

I have no words. From what I heard, I believe he was the only dentist in the practice that day and they had many more appointments than they could handle. I also heard many other patients complaining of hour+ waits in the waiting room. I have no idea why I didn't walk out, as a wait time that long is a huge red flag for the quality of their actual care. TL;DR: My experiences with front desk staff have been mostly positive. Some of their staff are rude and unprofessional. Recently, they have been extremely unprepared to care for patients and many patients have had 30+ minute wait times. Personally, I don't recommend this practice; judging by my experience and other reviews, they have gone downhill due to new management recently.

I had a great dental experience at Preferred. I had cracked half my front tooth off. I'm new to this area and no dentist would even try to fit me in. The office manager Stephanie at Preferred Dental understood and graciously gave me an appointment for the next day to have the dentist fix my front tooth.

I had such a great experience I made an appointment for my cleaning, which went very well, now they're my regular dentist. I highly recommend Preferred Dental of Cromwell.
