The team is friendly, fast, easy to work with and schedule appointments. They took all my daughter feelings to heart and put her at ease. They had to fill several cavities and she said not only did she not feel a thing (including the novicain shot) she almost fell asleep while they were working! So thankful we found them.

Called for an emergency crown replacement for my son. I gave them all the information needed, insurance, providers, reasoning. They said to come in for a consult and cleaning the next day. I completed paper work the night before for a more speedy check in. We sat in waiting room for an hour and 45 minutes before we were called back, my son is four years old.
When called back the chairs and equipment were not very clean, you could see grease and dirt on knobs of handles of cleaning equipment. Once the dentist checked him out, he had us they do not do ceramic crowns and to call another dentist. We spent 5minutes in the dentist chair, it would have been helpful for them to tell me that they did not provide that service the two times I discussed our issue.

Horrible experience, very unprofessional. Unorganized, staff is not well trained, communication is difficult and inconsistent, and their office manager in Winchester has a horrible attitude. You will be treated in a large room with no privacy dividers. Word of caution- they are NOT LGBTQIA+ friendly. You have to make appointments through a call center, but then they tell you to speak with the location directly, then transfer you and drop the call. According to their website they are open Mon-Fri but the call center says they “do not accept phone calls on Mon and Tue” So after many attempts I finally got scheduled. On the phone I clearly stated that I was pregnant multiple times. At no point in this conversation was I informed I needed a release from my OB in order to receive a basic cleaning. I was told to arrive 15 min prior to my appointment, which I did, but the doors were locked. I went inside when they opened and checked in. I was asked to sign forms stating that I had been given a copy of multiple policies, that I was not actually given copies of. I returned my completed paperwork, again clearly stating I’m pregnant. Was told the usual- take a seat, someone would call me, etc. This would have been the perfect opportunity for the person at the desk to tell me that I needed a release form from my OB, but nothing was said. In the 45 min I waited I easily could have called my OB’s office and obtained a letter, signature, etc.
instead I just waited there 45 min past my scheduled appointment time. I’m finally called to the back and the assistant/hygienist (I'm not sure) immediately asked for the release form. I assumed she meant for X-rays so I asked if it was OK to just skip Xrays, because I had some that weren't that old from a previous dentist before my insurance changed. She wasn’t sure and went to ask. So I’m already sitting in the chair waiting to be seen expecting a cleaning and an exam from the dentist. Their office manager comes out all guns blazing in complete disbelief that I would dare set foot in their office without a release form. And that I could possibly expect them to see me without it. Basically treating me like “how could I be so stupid to not know that I needed it. ” That it wasn’t about the x-rays. I wasn’t even allowed to have a cleaning or anything with out this magical form. So I asked her, could I at least see the dentist, because I would like his opinion on an old/damaged filling. She said “you can see him, but he won’t do anything”. I said “that’s fine, that’s all I want anyway. He can still put in the preauthorization with my insurance if it needs to be fixed. ” She again repeats “well he’s not going to be able to do anything.
” I repeat “I would still like him to look at it. ” And she again keeps telling me over and over again that I can see the dentist but he won’t do anything without the form. And I tell her over and over again, that’s fine, I would still like to see him. So now shes going off on me about this form, and all the other dental offices shes worked in, and how this is the industry standard (its not, I have since found a new dentist and neither my first or my new one required this), and she’s just standing there over me refusing to understand that I just want to see the dentist. I literally turned in to a broke record at one point responding to everything she said with “id like to see the dentist”. Finally she says “if youre going to have an attitude you cannot be a patient here”. So I told her “you already agreed that I can see the dentist, I understand that he cannot do any procedures today, and I don’t want him to. I don’t understand why you are still standing here. ” So she says “fine” and huffs away. Dentist comes. Looks at the filling, agrees with me that it needs to be fixed, gives me the info on where to send my most recent x-rays. Painless 3 minute interaction that took 45 minutes of waiting and 10 minutes of public harassment by their office manager to get to. Will never be back.

I went there in Feb and I was happy they gave me antibiotics and info on where I can get a root canal and get my tooth pulled.
The root canal dentist was AWESOME!! I tried to call them back 5 times to set up a time to get my crown and no one EVERY CALLED ME BACK or even answered the phone for that matter!! I even left a msg for them to call me back and NOPE!! I guess when there too "busy" to answer the phones it goes to a 3rd party or whatever!! I also feel just because you might have Medicaid the set up in the front and back doesn't have to scream "we accept insurance from the government" Have a blessed day guys and in my opinion if you have a car or can take the Medicaid cab to another one( Like 703 or 571 area) you will be WAY MORE SATISFIED!!
