My former dentist retired and I was referred to Dr. Owens. He was very rude. He dismissed my concerns about the condition of my teeth after pregnancy (I have teeth with very little enamel to begin with and pregnancy really caused them to go downhill from there) and told me that there is absolutely no correlation between pregnancy and tooth health (which is false). He basically told me that I did not take care of my teeth and the reason my front tooth broke was not due to it being brittle, but because I did something to cause it to be weak.

This really made me upset. They also made me get $120 x-rays that my insurance would not cover, but they told me if I did not have them done they would not see me. I was desperate to have my tooth fixed, so I complied. After all of this, he then refused to fix it saying that it would take too long and he could not fix it for me that day despite the pain I was in. I was in tears and he looked at me as if I was crazy.

I left and will never set foot in there again and will continue to warn people about him and his practice. I then went to another local dentist and had my tooth fixed that day with no extra hidden cost. Avoid this place at all costs!

Terrible service! Called to ask if they took my insurance immediately got attitude from the receptionist asked “what I wanted” then proceed to try and schedule me asked for insurance information and got immediately shut down told me to call my insurance bc “they don’t take me” exact words of the receptionist so freaking rude and inconsiderate didn’t even try and help me further! I ended the phone call in tears!

Dr. Owens and crew saved my chipped tooth. I thought my molar was a goner, but they put me back together, and I'm so happy to be pain free and chewing normally again. What a lifesaver. I also love the teeth cleanings I get here. Squeaky clean teeth!

The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because of my unreasonable fear of the dentist. Dr. Owens and his staff are fantastic and overly accommodating. I begrudgingly return every 6 months.
