Overall 2/5 stars. I had to get a root canal on a molar not covered by insurance. Initially I was quoted $850. At the time of booking, price was $950 (to be split $475 each visit since it’s a 2 part procedure). I was fine paying that because I needed the tooth addressed. Found a special for $599 root canals on OAD official Facebook page. When I presented the offer, the receptionist and dentist stated they were unaware and would not honor it. They then proceeded to get it “taken down” by whomever responsible.
I explained that the false advertisement was disheartening to clients. Despite this, I went through with the 1st step. The physical root canal procedure itself was fine. Although Dr Asfour failed to introduce herself, she did a good job of numbing the area. It was virtually painless. I was grateful because I was extremely anxious! Fast forward, my follow up for the second half of the procedure was scheduled 11/29. They cancelled my appt because Asfour was out. Then could not accommodate me for another 3 weeks at this location.
(No priority reschedule for the inconvenience)! I still went into the office on 11/29 because the temporary filling had fallen out. The dental assistant/ hygienist I worked with fixed it quickly. However, when it was time to rinse, she gave me a cup with black floaties in it which I did not see until AFTER I rinsed. When mentioned, she stated “oh yeah, the sink does that sometimes” very well nonchalantly. I was appalled. I cancelled my follow up and will take my business elsewhere. Save your time and money!

Very professional staff. Always on time appointments. Doctors are very knowledgeable. If you need a good dentist you need to call Advance Dentist in Orland park you won’t be dissatisfied.

I have been going to Advanced Dentistry for many years. The staff is always very nice and courteous. Jennifer is always very helpful and making appointments very easy. Doctor Asfour is always very professional and knowledgeable.
She makes every visit pleasant . She takes the time to explain your dental problems and the procedures necessary to fix them. I highly recommend you give Advanced Dentistry a try you won’t be disappointed.
