Today, Dr. Meehan pulled out my tooth. I've had anxiety for days, dreading this painful day. I hate the novacain and the after effects of the numbing on my face. OMG. Dr. Meehan is absolutely fantastic. I didn't feel a thing. It is now 5 hours since I've been home and I feel great. I'm so happy and pain free. Thank you Dr.

I was so worried about developing oral cancer. I have had some throat issues for about a year now. I decided to get a second opinion after seeing three other specialists over the past couple of months, so I saw Dr. Meehan. I was so anxious about the appointment at first, but he put me at ease during my visit.
He told me that he thought I didn’t necessarily have it, since it doesn’t really occur in people my age, thinking it’s probably just a bit of reflux, and he said there’s this little patch on there to where the tonsils were removed (this was 15 years ago). Overall, I’m really glad it’s not oral cancer, and I’m very happy I got a second opinion. Great experience. Thank you Dr. Meehan!!!

Dr. Meehan is a pretty impressive human being and Oral Surgeon. We found ourselves in a jam. Son arrived in Chicago for college after having 4 extractions in California. Something called a "spicule" developed. It was sharp and tearing up his tongue.
First surgeon we called said essentially didn't want to clean up someone else's work. Dr. Meehan's office, which has some very nice people, said would seem him that afternoon. Fixed up the problem and was very kind in all aspects of he handled it. Wow.
