Dr. Wong is the BEST - I was nervous as I had never had a root canal. Dr. Wong explained everything she was doing as she worked. I had no discomfort during the procedure and what was more important was that I had NO pain after the procedure. The office even called the next day to see how I was doing. I would never go to anyone else. She is simply OUTSTANDING.

I have had 2 root canals done with Dr. Wong. I just had one finished today and I can not say enough good things about the practice and her. She is so soft spoken, sweet and thorough. I felt so safe and calm with her. I have a huge fear of pain from dental work so this is a big thing for me.
Both root canals were done professionally and with no pain. The entire staff is very calming and has great bedside manner as well. Melanie, the receptionist, is very nice and super helpful. If you need any work done I highly recommend Dr. Wong.

Phenomenal dental practice. The facility is very clean. Dr. Wong is very thorough and gentle. Her dental assistant is also gentle. The procedure, albeit unpleasant in the sense that no one wants to get root canal therapy, was enjoyable in the sense that it was not painful or intolerable.
Dr. Wong explained exactly what would happen and what to expect during and after the procedure, she would check how I was feeling every so often, minded my hand signal when I needed a break, and is very good giving you the anesthesia injection. The atmosphere is very calm and pleasant. You get a follow up call the day after, which is a very nice touch.

I had high hopes after reading the reviews for Dr. Wong, but was very disappointed by my experience and cannot recommend her. I liked her office and her staff was professional but I found Dr. Wong to be very unsympathetic and even downright impatient with the anxiety I was experiencing. I had no idea I would react the way I did to the use of a dental dam, which basically caused a claustrophobic reaction. Her response to this was that I could pay $800.
00 an hour for an anesthesiologist to come in with her to put me under or she couldn't help me. And that was the end the appointment which, by the way, came with a bill over $450. 00 for about 30 mins of time that was of no use to me at all. After consulting with my general dentist later, it was rightly suggested that I take an anti-anxiety drug beforehand and that should solve the issue. I took that advice and it helped immensely. I ended up using another endodontist in Stamford who did an excellent job and she was also patient & understanding.
The use of the anti-anxiety medication helped immensely. Why didn't Dr. Wong suggest this? Very disappointing.
