We have over 18 years experience with this dentist office. From after hours dental emergencies resulting from sporting accidents to routine dental care, Dr Matt and Dr Jamie have provided our kiddos with the best care. Miss Shannon and Miss Suzy are our favorite hygienist - always friendly, gentle and genuinely interested in the health and well-being of their patients.
We highly recommend Northern Michigan Pediatric dentistry for the very best in dental care.

We had high hopes for this practice as they were recommended by a close friend. The dentists were competent and the hygienists were mostly friendly and did a decent job cleaning our children's teeth; although at times seemed somewhat impatient with our special needs child. The front staff was not the friendliest and occasionally rude, however I always assumed it was because they were a high volume office and gave them a pass over the years. As others have echoed, the real issue is that if you miss TWO appointments (even if it is due to THEIR error) they will ban your entire family from coming to their practice ever again. . .
they will send a threatening letter and tell you to seek care elsewhere. Even after taking our children there for five years! They clearly do not care, it's just a "high volume business" to them. You are expendable. We ended up moving out of state and at the very last appointment we told them that we were moving and apparently our middle child still had an appointment scheduled, so we received the letter forwarded to our new address! Sadly, the cool "balloon animals" don't make up for the lack of personal attention and caring for each family that attends this practice. Life is crazy with little ones and sometimes schedules get mixed up or in our case, the practice actually makes an error. .
. and yet, they have zero empathy. Would not recommend them. Look elsewhere for a practice that might actually get to know your family!!

Our family love this dentist practice. Everyone of the dentists are skilled and efficient. The hygienist, Raquel, is exceptionally awesome with my young children.
She always goes above and beyond to make them comfortable and cheer them on through hard moments. They look forward to seeing her every time. Never have we had a complaint about this office in the several years we have been going there We drive 2 1/2 hrs one way and it is worth the drive for the comfort of my kiddos!!

Everyone in this office is always so kind and patient with our children! I couldn't have asked for a better reference to a Pediatric dentistry! Each one of them are amazing and truly care about what they are doing! The balloon animals/objects at the end is a perfect finishing touch. We've been bringing our children here for years and will until they no longer can!
