The clinic is equipped to handle dental emergencies and offers various treatment modalities, including oral and inhalation conscious sedation, and even complete treatment under general anesthesia when necessary. Northeast Pediatric Dentistry emphasizes open communication with parents, ensuring they are fully informed about their child's oral health and the proposed treatment plans. The team, including dedicated dental assistants, is trained to make visits delightful and stress-free for young patients. They accept most dental insurance plans and strive to make care affordable and accessible. The practice prides itself on building lasting relationships with its "petite patients" as they grow, aiming to empower them to care for their oral health throughout their lives. Dr. Kugar's extensive experience also includes working as a part-time instructor at Riley Hospital for Children for nine years, underscoring her commitment to children's dental health advocacy.

The dentist is a little intense, and some folks within the office staff that are less than kind and helpful (details below). This isn’t a fit for us. Office staff was catty and defensive about a billing error, and did not work with insurance to see if it could be resolved before billing me for the balance.

When I called the insurance company, it was a simple error that was easily resolved, but I would have paid a large sum out of pocket had they not been made aware.

This was the biggest waste of time and to be honest, one of the worst dentist I have ever experienced in the Indianapolis Area. First and foremost, I made it clear up front that my child had autism and that this was a referral. They assured me they would be great for my autistic child. They also knew the insurance and said everything would be fine. After telling the dentist everything about my child and his habits she went on to pretty much put everything down that we do, criticize my child and their eating habits, and not even offer up a situation. Dr Kruger or whatever her name is pretty much danced around telling us how bad we are with dental hygiene which isn’t not true! We care for our child’s hygiene big time but she constantly just kept being rude and saying we were wrong and all the other dentist we have been to didn’t do their jobs right.

She said we would need to do dental surgery and said within the next month or two we could try to schedule them acted like she didn’t want to do it at all. She started making excuses on why she couldn’t do it then started blaming insurance which they had no issue with getting the work done after talking to them. She wasted an hour of our time talking circles then walked us out. Her staff then acted like they didn’t want to schedule us as well. Told them this was the worse visit we have ever had and begun to walk out. They two ladies started talking and saying things negatively about us as we walked.

This dentist office is very unprofessional just like their lead dentist and should be closed. We will go elsewhere and continue to share our bad experience with this dentist. The dentist was more worried about her next plastic surgery than helping us.

Dr Kugar is great with kids! My 6 year old actually likes going to the dentist! She does a great job of explaining why teeth go wrong, what we can do to prevent it, and takes away some of the parental guilt;)
