Nitro Family Dentistry

Front desk receptionist is short and unfriendly to some customers. I came to this dental practice because one of my daughters needed a root canal, which our regular dental office does not currently perform. And, our previous oral surgeon was unable to perform because she couldn’t numb my daughter’s mouth. Now, I’m a single custodial father with no support from mom. I have been filling both twin’s cavities, had some of one twin’s teeth surgically removed at the other oral surgery office and just completed her sister’s root canal at this office.

This process has been over 12 months now. During our last visit to this office, I was short on time because I needed to pickup my 7 yr. old son from school, which was 50 minutes away. So, I did not have time after the root canal to speak with the dentist about my other daughter’s recently discovered additional cavities that needed to be filled before getting their braces. Nevertheless, when I called back to schedule my daughter for her fillings.

I asked the receptionist if she could find out the time frame for the cavity repair process. Well, the receptionist proceeded to lecture me about how I should have spoken to the dentist when I was in the office and that dental work is a timely process. Wow, imagine that, I really needed to be lectured by this individual about how dental work is time consuming! Last, I asked to speak with the dentist and the office manager, but I was told they were not available. And, the receptionist did not provide me their voicemail to leave a message about my concerns. Great back office staff and dentist but the reception area needs an adjustment!

The dental hygienist, Woody is absolutely amazing with my kids! We’ve had traumatic dentist visits elsewhere in the past. He made my two year old happy as can be and excited to get her teeth cleaned! The front desk women ( blonde with a nose ring) so helpful! Helped me get my insurance settled and registered online. She makes sure to schedule me just right to get the most of my insurance.

The Tall blonde dental hygienist, tells me her concerns without judgement and gets a solid plan that will work with me and my budget. There is no one in this office that has not been extremely nice and helpful. I will never go anywhere else with my whole family!

Dr. How's was very good at making sure that I was numb for the extractions. The nurse was nice and very patient. They both were excellent at answering my questions and explaining just how,what and why's of the aftercare. Recommend highly.
