I use this office because I took my hip insurance and I was suffering with anxiety/depression, being a full-time single mom during Covid of a newborn child. I visit it with Dr Courtney Moore several times and after reviewing my Health records and my medical medication, she insisted on speaking with my therapist. Which I thought was a great idea, however she waited over two weeks to get in touch with her and therefore I had to cancel my appointment on the Friday morning due to the circumstances. They never touched base and went over my history. This was all Dr Courtney Moore‘s idea , and she decided to contact my therapist the night before my morning appointment. As I stated I’m on hip plus and she is trying to charge me a late cancellation fee of $100.
I do not have any extra money and cannot pay this, the front desk off was extremely rude when I explain the situation . They also stated they don’t normally even speak with therapist, this isn’t the protocol. I said it was Dr Courtney Moore‘s idea and it’s not my fault that she had ample opportunity to get a hold of her. My therapist was only out for the weekend and Dr Courtney Moore was on a over week one vacation. I find her bedside manner to be very kind and caring at the beginning. However why would she think I can afford a late cancellation fee of 100.
00 when I work part time, mother full time and I am on hip plus. This office needs help in multiple areas. I she tried to call to speak with her, she won’t speak with me. I even sent her a letter stating the issue at hand, the office just keeps sending me a late cancellation fee for 100. 00!!!! This isn’t OKAY.
