The staff at Midwest Dental - Hastings, was very friendly and professional. Everything was explained to me thoroughly, and I felt confident that I was in good hands the entire time. I would recommend Midwest Dental Hastings to anyone, without hesitation!

Quick & efficient cleaning with hygienist, Kristin, followed by Dr. Tashi who did the final assessment. Both are welcoming & friendly! Front desk staff was a little glum- I do miss Janell who was worked as receptionist there previously. This was my second visit since Dr. Tashi Tsering took over this dental practice.

I cancelled my appointment that was scheduled for tomorrow, as a recheck. 4 months ago I had the most horrible experience with the hygienist. I asked for my normal hygienist and was told they all left. So this new very talkative person first ask for medical history, I have gone to this dentist office for 20 years or so, I said you should have everything. She didn't. Now this was just for a cleaning, she started and then stopped and said in two spots in my mouth I had issues with my gums and would need treatment. She left the room and came back and told me I needed to have better insurance.
I said what? She said the treatment wouldn't be covered. I said so I pay higher ins all year and have it covered or pay out of my pocket for a one time thing. She didn't catch on. The dentist came in looked in my mouth, no checking anything and said I agree with her and everything else "looks good. " I said so you agree I have an issue with my upper left side, he said yes. Then I DON'T have an issue with my bottom right side, he looked at her and said Oh yes you have an issue there also. Now who's the fool for staying in the chair? Yes me.
The hygienist came at me with a needle, I said shouldn't the doctor be doing this? Oh no she said she could. I did check and found out they are trained in things like this. Sort of. Well, I've never had bleeding gums or hurting gums and I had just been in 6 months earlier. She did her thing, I paid 385. 00 and left saying I would never go back there again, If I were you I wouldn't either.
