Dentist in Jackson, TN
UPDATE: I forgot to add this after I got the bill, but this office did not like what insurance paid them for a routine cleaning and x-rays for a first-time visit, so they billed us for it. Beware! Your twice-yearly cleanings that should be free via insurance may not be free here! When our regular Dentist's office closed, I had to find a new Dentist for our family. This was a shot in the dark but we got lucky! Our visit was quick and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The office was clean and modern and our hygienist and Doctor were knowledgable and thorough. We had a very pleasant experience, which is what you'd want at the Dentist's. We'll be staying!

Maybe the most awful experience I ever had at a dentist was with the staff at this office. What a displeasure and disgrace. While working on my tooth the doctor was completely distracted and bombarded with questions about other patients. The numbing hadn't set it properly yet and because they were so distracted I was uncomfortable to ask for additional numbing. It was incredibly painful for me to get the filling and the intense pain lasted over 6 weeks.
My filling is not properly constructed and actually into the next tooth. It still hurts often to chew many foods on that tooth- way worse than when i had the cavity in the first place! Later when I called the number on my extra bill about MORE money that I apparently had to pay from insurance, the secretary was ABHORRENTLY rude and maintained a degrading tone while assisting me with my questions as if I was a waste of her time. I actually had to ask her to stop interrupting me so I could complete a full statement before she jumped in. She was rather hateful over the phone- absolutely NO proper phone etiquette. Not to mention that I was returned a phone call nearly a week after I left a voicemail.
Go here if you have to but i recommend literally any other dentist office. They're not professional here and they don't go over the charges with you before you get work done. There's literally no explanation of what they are going to be doing they just do it and expect payment.

My 6 year old had a dental emergency and they got her right in same day. Not only that, it is very rare to experience positivity from the moment you walk in until you make it to the back with the doctors. I am so pleased with our whole experience today that I am booking myself an appointment.
My 6 year old was not scared and was such a big girl and I truly believe it is because of how she was treated as soon as we walked in. Thank yall so much!

Giving Dr Miller a one star ☆ review is really exceeding what his practice deserves!!!! (I am 78years old). . . !!! Had I read about his business and the facts of other patients and their reviews, I wouldn't have given him the time of day!!! They have a system of deceitfulness to take advantage of patients (elderly patients especially) and do some serious under handed ways to set you up for basically ripping you off!!! I had a couple chips on my front upper teeth that I wanted filed down and possible fillings if necessary. . . they convinced me that I needed crowns on four teeth!!! $1600 + dollars 💸 out of pocket expenses!!! One crown came off in ten months. . . they wanted to charge me and my insurance to put it back on. . . . I said I shouldn't have to pay anything because it didn't last a year. . . So, Dr Miller said he would charge my insurance. The crown wasn't damaged at all and he went about putting it back. . .
. he trimmed more off the stub base that he was going to attach the crown too. . . it stayed on for ten days before falling off a second time!!! When the crown came off the second time (in ten days) they said they would give me a discount because the crown was no longer usable and a new crown would have to be made. . . I told Dr Miller that it wasn't enough of my original tooth left (in my opinion) to put a crown on and apparently he agreed because he set me up for a surgery to expose more tooth ""that he himself had made even smaller than the first time it was filed down "". . . I told him that he's the one that filed my tooth down and now he wanted to do surgery to get more usable tooth to put the crown on. . . AND I declined the surgery!!! I am missing a crown as I await the outcome of discussions of this horrible situation with my dental insurance!!! Don't use this horrible excuse of a dentist! They will treat you like dirt after they get your dollars!!! Schemes and trickery to get you in the chair without advising of the co-pay and encouraging you to accept whatever they say!!! ☆☆☆ This next situation actually came about after the crowns were first put on and before the crown came off twice! So, after the crowns were put on, a few months later I was scheduled for a dental cleaning. During the cleaning the dental tech said I had one cracked tooth and that it needed a crown. I was told that I wouldn't have any out of pocket expenses with this crown!!! So, I was scheduled to have the crown done BUT, still wondering why there wouldn't be any out of pocket expenses! On appointment day, I was very warmly greeted by this technician. . . the first thing I said was ""find out my out of pocket expenses"" and she said sure but went about taking x-rays and notified me that there were actually two (2) cracked teeth and that I needed two (2) crowns. .
. SO, I said really??? I mean just a few weeks earlier I was told one cracked tooth but now. . . it's two (2)??? SO, I asked her again to find out my out of pocket expenses and she said ok and then the next thing I know, Dr Miller is there with his needle ready to inject the Novacane. . . I was confused and thought that maybe it wasn't any out of pocket expenses because surely he wouldn't start the procedure without making me aware of the co-pay, I opened my mouth and he injected me. . . THEN, immediately after being injected, the technician (Sherry) came and said to me, Oh, Mr Jones, you wanted to know your out of pocket expenses didn't you? I said YES, I HAD ASKED YOU TWICE. . . SO, she had the office finance girl to come in and tell me it would be $800 for the two teeth that has NEVER bothered me and now here I am ""MOUTH NUMB"" being told I'm going to need to pay $800 today for two (2) crowns!!! Needless to say, I felt they truly set me up and injected me thinking that once injected, I would go along with their deceitfulness. . . BUT, they were wrong, I got up and walked OUT!!! BE CAREFUL OF THE SET-UP AND NOT INFORMING YOU OF YOUR OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES!!! CROOKS. . .
