I had a broken wisdom tooth extracted. Only 1 hour waiting at the reception area. I was sedated and when I woke up I was already seated out in the waiting area. No pain at all. Didn't take the pain meds, but took the antibiotic that was picked up from the pharmacy. Dr. Bodey was great at Middletown NY location

Over Two hour wait- diabetic and no food for over 15 hours because they said don’t eat anything after dinner. Absolutely NOTHING for pain after large back tooth extraction- now have huge bone or tooth fragment coming out of the roof of my mouth. Nobody returns call to help- in incredible pain. My DOG has better help after tiny tooth extraction! At least they cared enough about him to give proper pain meds! I didn’t even ask for opioids ( like my dog had) I asked for magic mouthwash!!! They sent cholorhexidine! Helps ZERO for pain.
Shame. Hope this dentist has to go through surgery and gets no relief. Maybe then she will understand humans have only so much pain tolerance On the upside- the extraction was the only one I have ever had that I didn’t get dry socket.

I had 3 teeth removed. Dr. Bodey was great and quick. I only have one major issue. And not sure if Bodey is to blame. But I recently started taking Plavix (a blood thinner) though I stated this fact to the receptionist, the x-ray tech, Dr. Bodey and her assistant. After I was done, the staff told me they sent 2 prescriptions to my pharmacist. When I went to the pharmacist, I found out Ibuprofen and Amoxicillin were the prescriptions. Now what concerns me is they prescribed Ibuprofen which is harmful and could possibly causeheart attack, stroke or death to a person on a blood thinner. Thankfully my fiance and the pharmacist were able to catch the mistake. What fully frustrated me is I mentioned the blood thinner several times to different people and no one caught it. Bad. .

I should’ve added this review a long time ago. I brought my son there to have his four wisdom teeth extracted. He had a later appointment and when he got home that evening one of his extraction areas wouldn’t stop bleeding. I called the answering service and pleaded like any mother would in the middle of the night over three times BEGGING her to see my son because the ER at Garnet couldn’t even stop it and said the oral surgeon has to fix it. (I have NO faith in that hospital either.
) Dr. Bodey didn’t see my son until the next morning and I had to make a scene to get her to see him first. No compassion. She may act like she does, but God help you if you have an emergency!!!! Her lack of action when needed speaks VOLUMES!!
