We went to Dr. Lloyd for almost 20 years (until we moved to Arizona), and he is a wonderful, honest dentist! A few times he advised us that we needed to brush a particular area more thoroughly because a cavity was beginning to form. Other dentists would have just filled these "cavities," but he did not. With improved brushing, these at risk areas healed up and proved to be just fine.
In the almost 20 years that Dr. Lloyd served our family of 8, he never found any true cavities that needed to be filled. If you want a friendly, cheerful, conservative, TRUTHFUL dentist who will only fill cavities that are truly beyond hope, look no further!

Due to bad experiences I was afraid of the dentist and hadn't been in 4 years. I had a shattered tooth and a bad cavity that caused severe pain. My partner suggested his dentist, Dr. Lloyd. I visited and he was not only very kind, he didn't judge me and helped me set up a plan to fix my teeth. He explained everything well and answered any questions I had. He asked me to visit every 3 months until last year, when he lowered it to 6 months. When there were procedures he couldn't do in his office he reffered me to another office where they were also very kind.
My teeth are much healthier now. I will visit Dr. Lloyd until he retires. The best dentist I've ever had and I no longer fear dentists. I also have to note how lovely and kind the entire staff is. I always feel welcome when I come in.

I went to a Dr. Lloyd today, who was recommended by family members. It was the best dentist appointment I have had in years! I have had so many stressful visits to the dentist and this one was definitely not stressful. He was able to fix my chipped tooth and I barely felt the injection to numb my mouth.
Then my tooth ended up looking just like it used to. Anyways, I thought I would share in case anyone needed a good dentist to go to in Utah.

I canceled my treatment with another practice to come here instead. In doing so I avoided $900 worth of unnecessary work and just generally felt like I knew what was going on. Dr. Lloyd is easy to understand and never recommends a service that you don't need. He takes time to examine your mouth, X-Rays, and situation before acting.
The fillings he did for me were done quickly, precisely, and I was comfortable the whole time. Very, very good dentist. If you're looking around, I highly recommend you go with Dr. Lloyd.
