Im just a little irritated and happy at the same time. My dentist, Schaferle & Schaferle out of Crestline, Ohio, I have been using for bout 8-10 years tells me my son has 13 cavities and it's going to cost around $3000. $300 per molar, $189 per front. Now I look in his mouth and don't see 13 cavities. They say almost all of them are in between the teeth where I can't see them. They tell me my insurance only covers 38% of each filling so to spend my $1000 yearly benefit I'd have to get all the fillings done. Costing me over $2000. Something hanky panky going on here. Not even counting I broke a part of my tooth and they tell me I need a root canal costing me another $1300.

. . . total cost $2300 before my $1000 benefit. I call my insurance. They cover 80% of fillings and there should be no difference in location of filling cost. My Sister recommended me to visit Dr Liu in Ontario, Ohio. Folks, if you ever need a dentist near me, you have got to go to Dr. Liu! He is phenomenal! My son actually only had 6 cavities.

(The ones I could see) Big difference from 13 to 6. I did NOT need a root canal and he fixed my tooth the same day and fixed my son the same day. My insurance covered all the work. I did not spend a dime! Dr. Liu is soooo fun, friendly and caring! I cannot recommend a better dentist ever! His dental assistant Brittany was the sweetest also! I cannot express how the atmosphere of my visit to Dr. Liu had me smiling ear to ear. Love love Dr. Liu and Brittany!

I loved this dentist for my daughter. In February of 2020 they cancelled my daughters appointment the morning of saying the Dr wouldn't be in. Then covid happened.

I called in June to get her back in and they informed me they decided to stop taking my daughters insurance. Understandable but it is very frustrating that they cancelled her appointment when they were accepting it and then never sent me anything telling me they were dropping her as a patient.

I'm one of those people who fears the dentist due to previous bad experiences. Dr Liu and his whole staff are AWESOME! So kind and understanding and they really helped me out. I was nervous going in but they put me at ease quickly. Going to have some further work done and he will be my dentist from now on. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

This place is AMAZING! The dentist is so incredibly sweet. It was super easy to get my kids in. Prior, I took them to Playtime Dental but it's insanely hard to get an appointment (They wanted to schedule us for July 3rd when I tried to make the appointment in January!) We got an appointment within a week here, at Liu Clinic! And this place is so clean and they have video games and books for kids in the waiting room and TVs on the ceiling while they clean and work on their teeth! They work quickly, and even called us in early because someone had cancelled! "Paperwork" is done on the computer so it took 5 minutes to fill out everything for both of the boys. She is so accommodating. .

. My youngest son was super jumpy/fidgety and I was telling her that he has ADHD so she was showing/preparing him for everything and made it more fun and relaxing for him. She said she would do his 6 year old sealants yesterday and could fill his cavity yesterday too to get it all done in one appointment and he didn't want to so she said to let him mentally prepare and talk to him about it and that she'll give him the laughing gas but if she sees that he doesn't breathe it in very well (he didn't breathe it in well at Playtime Dental) that she can refer him to a specialist and they'll put him to sleep to ease his anxiety. They're just so helpful and gave us more options. She also seems more knowledgeable and experienced.

She also didn't make us do unnecessary dental work. With my oldest, she said he has calcium on a tooth which is a warning sign for a cavity but they typically lose that tooth around 9 years old and she's not going to make him go through getting a filling or crown when he's going to lose the tooth really soon, likely before a cavity even has time to develop. I would suggest Liu Clinic to everyone!
