This was our second time seeing Dr Alex and he makes us feel like we have been seeing him for years. Comfortable and confident in his abilities. Emma, Shey and Vita make us feel comfortable. They are like seeing friends even though we just met. So glad we discovered this office.

I love my new dentist. I loved the new girl want to keep them both. You have all new people and sometimes it very hard for me to come in to the office. I am not a big fan of the dentist but light dental has always treated me with such respect even when tears are coming down my face and my hands are white hanging on the chair arms terrified. I will always keep going to them. Thank you!!!!

I had a fantastic experience at this dental office. The staff was wonderful, and I felt well taken care of from the moment I arrived. I came in for a check-up and cleaning, and Vita was the one who performed the cleaning and scans. She was incredibly gentle and made me feel welcome. Dr.

Trieu then examined my teeth, keeping me informed throughout the process. She patiently answered all my questions and provided her honest opinion on the best treatment plan for me. Overall, I highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for attentive, high quality care.

I’ve experienced multiple billing issues since transferring from the Renton location to Auburn, which I had previously overlooked due to the convenience of the location. However, the most recent situation has left me extremely disappointed. I called to cancel my appointment more than 24 hours in advance, only to be informed that there is a $50 fee per scheduled hour because the cancellation fell within a 48-hour window — a policy that was never communicated to me at any point. Charging $100 for a cancellation made over 24 hours ahead of time, based on an assumed two-hour appointment length, feels both excessive and arbitrary. There was no guarantee the appointment would have taken that long, and no transparency around how these fees are determined.

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing billing concerns and lack of clear communication, I will not be returning to this location. I highly recommend Dr. Hyder and his team at the Renton office, who have always provided excellent care and transparency. Update: May 29th 2025 After posting my review, I was promptly contacted by the District Manager at Light Dental Studios. She took the time to genuinely listen to my concerns and offered a thoughtful resolution, which I truly appreciate.

I’m updating my review to reflect that Light Dental Studios, as a whole, is committed to patient care. Dr. Alex, in particular, is a fantastic provider and a true asset to the practice. My only suggestion would be to continue working on improving communication from the front office staff to ensure patients feel fully informed and supported.
