Dr Mahan was professional and calm. He did a great job of explaining the problem to me and did what we could to alleviate the pain. I got an appointment with him quickly and easily. His support staff was helpful, kind and compassionate. If you’re unfortunate to have a dental emergency while on vacation, his office is a great resource.

Child dental emergency while on vacation? Go see Dr. Mahan! Our daughter cracked a filling in a baby tooth while eating ice cream. We searched google and found Dr. Mahan — we could make an online appointment that night for the next morning. We received a call first thing at 8am and then went in. While the extent of the dental problem wasn’t what we hoped for, Dr.
Mahan was amazingly patient with our freaked out 8 year old who needed her baby tooth extracted. He was caring, competent, experienced (as a dentist and grandfather) and kind! This was a tough morning for all of us, and Dr. Mahan got us through it. The entire staff at LBI Dental were phenomenal and I cannot recommend them more highly.

Very happy to write an excellent review. Dr. Mahan and his staff were truly fantastic and professional. I had a dental emergency with significant pain and was able to get into the office very quickly. Dr.
Mahan and his assistant took great care of me and it was a pleasure going here. Will happily go back here if I ever have another dental issue while on the Island. The office assistant also called and checked up on me later in the day to see how I was doing which was very appreciated. Great people.
