I understand that everyone has bad days—but when it comes to dental care, there’s no room for mistakes. The woman at the front desk who handles insurance and billing deserves 4 stars, and the hygienist deserves 5—she did an excellent job with my cleaning. But my experience with the dentist for fillings? Zero stars. A front tooth filling fell out twice—first within three days and then again just 30 minutes after being redone along with a molar filling. I’ve had extensive dental work over the last 20 years and have never had this happen. Then, the molar filling was done improperly, leaving me with constant pain in both the treated tooth and the one behind it—pain I never had before. I can’t even floss between them, which suggests the filling was placed incorrectly or the teeth fused together with the filling material.

When I returned that day at 2:30pm (work was done at 10am) to have it checked, my concerns were completely dismissed. Instead of listening, the dentist focused solely on my bite and when I tried to explain the electric-shock feeling I was getting she just told me to "answer yes or no" about my bite. The missing filling in the front was not addressed at all even though they were told about it. I was on state dental insurance, and it was clear that because the office would receive a lower payout compared to private insurance, the quality of care I received was subpar. That should never be the case, but it was immediately obvious. I was told my insurance would run out trying to do all five fillings so they would need to try to make it work because it would "be cutting it close". I would have happily paid the difference out of pocket for quality care and material used.

Before my visit, I had read negative reviews about this office, specifically about fillings, but I dismissed them, thinking they were from people who were impossible to please. After experiencing the exact same issues firsthand, I realize those reviews were accurate. I even had to cancel a trip I had planned for months because I was afraid more fillings would fail while being away over the weekend - it did. Now, I have to pay out of pocket for another dentist to assess and fix these mistakes in addition to trying to get on private insurance to ensure quality care moving forward. Bottom line: If you’re just going in for a cleaning, the hygienist is phenomenal. But beyond that, I strongly recommend going elsewhere for actual dental work.

The dentists clearly care for their patients and get the appointments scheduled asap. They’re for sure my favourite dentists Ive ever been to. They did a great job with my cleaning and transitional tooth. I also had to get filling for my teeth and they handled it no problem.
