Great atmosphere. Welcoming staff. The most pain free cleanings I’ve ever received in my life. Max is awesome. Skiba is very heavy handed when working, but a perfectionist. She is very up front with things, too.
Which is great IMO. I haven’t been to a Dentist regularly since I was in high school. This dental office makes me feel very comfortable and confident about getting dental work done. Don’t mind the negative reviews, you can’t please everybody.

A few weeks ago I had a core and crown done in this office and it was an absolute disaster! About halfway through the procedure the Dentist and tech were clearly stressed at the way things were going, the pain medication became inadequate but then too much was given in a haphazard fashion, much of it going down my throat. By the time I walked out of the office the entire right side of my face was blown up like a balloon and I had swelling along my jaw and down into my neck and throat which caused difficulty and pain swallowing. It is VERY hard to believe that the doctor didn't call me later that evening or very first thing the next morning to see how I was doing. But it was the ER that called them.
. . . That is because I ended up having to go to the ER the next morning.
But, as if all that wasn't enough, the girl at the front desk was absolutely incompetent in her estimate of what my out-of-pocket costs would be (a few months prior to the procedure). I called my insurance company which verified that what I had signed off on as far as my co-pay was not for a core and crown procedure but for a biteguard. I was informed of this "issue" (she didn't admit that it was her mistake)-- which would be resulting in a much higher co-pay (twice as much as the original I signed off on)-- only after my arriving at the office after having driven almost 30 miles.

I highly recommend this dental office. The staff is very efficient and friendly. The Dentist knows what she is doing and makes sure I am comfortable. I couldn't be happier with the care I receive at Lighthouse Family Dental!

I had my teeth cleaned by Zack. He was friendly and remembered details about me that I had shared 6 months before. We chatted( as best I could) all during the appointment. Dr. Skiba was great as usual and even sat down with me to look at photos of my garden flowers. I always leave feeling cared about and having had a good experience.
