I lost sensation in part of my tongue after a dental procedure at this office, and I’m extremely upset. Last year, I visited for multiple fillings. During the procedure, after a numbing injection, I felt a pinch in my tongue, and something clearly went wrong. Since then, I’ve lost sensation in part of my tongue, causing me to bite it constantly while eating or speaking. This has greatly affected my quality of life. A neurologist follow-up offered no improvement, suggesting permanent nerve damage.

Dentists know the nerve anatomy well—this mistake could have been avoided with more care and less rush, which I noticed throughout my visit. Despite informing the office, I received no meaningful support, just a few emails. At minimum, they should have scheduled an immediate check-up. Their lack of responsibility is unacceptable.

I had a fantastic experience here. After getting a ridiculously high quote for a procedure from another dental office, I was left stressed and in pain trying to figure out how to solve my problem(root canal). Thats when I found Lake Washington Dental. Over the phone they were immediately able to give me quote, 1/3 the cost i was previously quoted.

It was music go my ears. Even better, they were able to fit me in on short notice!! My experience in the office was pleasant. From the waiting room to the procedure room , the staff were all very friendly and professional. Dr.

Shih is clearly very good at his work. He was courteous and patient while he worked with me to fix up my tooth! Overall I am very happy with my choice in Lake Washington Dental. Pricing was fair(they did not try to upsell me on unnecessary work), staff was top notch, office was clean and well maintained. Dental visits can be a nerve wracking experience but here I had, dare I say, a pleasant experience! Hopefully it wont be anytime soon, but I will absolutely be back for any future dental work!
