LaGrange Family Dentistry is the kind of practice that makes dental care feel like a breeze. My family of four has been coming here for 3 years, and every visit is consistent—warm, efficient, and stress-free. The office is cozy with a welcoming staff that greets us by name. Dr. Patel is fantastic with kids; she let my 4-year-old hold a “magic mirror” during her checkup, turning fear into fun.

For my husband’s root canal, he explained the process step by step, easing his anxiety. The hygienists are thorough yet gentle, and they even taught my tween daughter proper flossing for her braces. They work with insurance seamlessly, offer evening hours, and once fit me in last-minute when I had a toothache. A practice that truly cares about families—we’re loyal for life.

Brought my daughter to get braces and a cleaning and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely kind and helpful in explaining everything to us to ensure our understanding. They took care to make sure we were comfortable and as a Mom that meant the world to me. This is a great place to bring your kids. I was very pleased with our experience.

On 11/06/2024 I went to Lagrange Family Dentistry to get a filling, they told me that day that it would be around $600. 00 for a front filling. I said Ive had work done and never had to pay in full, becuase my insurace covers a great amount of my dental procedures. They then offered me a service through Sunbit where its basically a credit line where Sunbit pays in full and instead of me paying LFD I end up paying Sunbit through time. . . I even gave a deposit that same day towards my Sunbit account. They then proceeded to tell me that they NO LONGER RECIEVE CHECKS FROM INSURNACE COMPANIES. On 01/17/2025 I called and was reffered to some one who could supposedly answer my questions.

. . she then told me that it takes up to 60 days to proccess everything. So she suggested that I call back by 03/17/2025 SO I WAITED. Called back spoke to a manager, and they still had no clue what was going on with my account (which they never applied the payment from Sunbit to begin with). A couple days later I spoke to the manager and she said she would send me my ledger and gave me her email. When i reached out I heard nothing back. I then called today and they again blame it on my insurance, and still cant get it situated after 5 months of going back and fourth. This has to be the most unprofessional dentist office I have ever been too.

I will NEVER recommend this office, and if you go here please reconsider. Just had my insurance confirm they did recieve check AND cashed on 01/30/25. This is outragous. EDITED 05/08/25 I have had the situation resolved due to my work manager and my insurance company. The only reason we were in communication was due to ME, calling relentlessly inquiring about my account. I would appreciate if the response woudnt act like they were accomodating me and trying to resolve the situation for me. Now they are calling and trying to verify if everything has been taken care of. After I MYSELF went in personally and picked up my check. The issue here was they simply couldn't even verify if the check was cashed, until my insurance company did!
