Dr. Pfotenhauer was amazing! He dispelled any worries I had about the dental procedure I needed, and was super calm and relaxing to be around. He turned a very unpleasant experience into a really low-anxiety and tolerable one, and I highly recommend his office.
The location is a bit difficult to find though, so make sure that you give yourself an extra 10 minutes or so on top of what you think you'll need to find it.

I needed a Root Canal on a molar that had a crown on it. I decided to go see Kris Pfotenhauer In Escanaba Michigan. Although it was a 90 mile drive from my house it was well worth it. The office girl Carlene was vey helpful and an absolute sweetheart as was doc Pfotenhauer's assistant Lisa.
The procedure was painless the doc came in, explained everything and told me the root canal will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Well 1 hour and 5 minutes and I was back on the road home in no pain and feeling 100 percent again. Thanks again Kris, Lisa, and Carlene for making it all so EZ hats off to these people who are great at what they do. Mike

I went in for a Root Canal. First of all, I had to reschedule my appointment the morning of, due to illness. They were super nice about it and got me on a wait list for cancellations.
On the day of my appointment all the staff there was very nice and made me feel really comfortable. The procedure was totally pain free (honestly I think I fell asleep in the middle!) — my issues were totally resolved and I have complete use of my tooth again!! If you need a root canal this is absolutely the place to come. Thanks so much!

Never in a million years would I have thought a microscopic Root Canal would be totally easy. Thanks to Dr. Kristopher, his skills and his wing woman Megan I felt zero pain.
They were accommodating the whole way through and it went so smooth I could have taken a nap. Thank you for this experience I will never go anywhere else if I have to get this procedure done again. Well worth the almost 3 hour drive!!
