Kris is fabulous. I've been having him work on my teeth for over 20 years. He is kind, funny, cautious, and really helps you understand what he's doing or his plan of attack is. What I like best about him is he tends to be cautious when it comes to filling cavities or doing work on teeth. He doesn't automatically drill when he sees what appears to be a cavity. He'll be patient and wait to see if it turns into a cavity or if it goes away (obviously, if you're in pain he'll tell you to call and come in). I've experienced both sides of this where we've waited with potential cavities.

Some turn into cavities while others disappear. Kris is also very into dentistry. He is always giving me tidbits on the latest and greatest breakthroughs in the industry (as well as giving me tips on how to better care for my teeth). Most people hate going to the dentist but I don't. Going to see Kris is borderline relaxing to me. He's a great dentist and I would highly recommend him.

I started going to Dr. Hansen recently because he was my boyfriend's family dentist growing up and he raved about how great Dr. Hansen was. I needed a new crown. Dr. Hansen did a fantastic job - he not only took the time to do a good job, but he explained exactly what he was doing, why it was important, and walked you through every step of the process so you could understand.

I've never seen a dentist do that. He also explained the difference between good dental work and the type of dental work that would make you come back in five years for a replacement. He keeps up with all the latest technologies and advancements and incorporates them into his practice so you know you are getting top of the line care. They allowed me to pay over time, but in the end gave me the little pay-up-front discount, just because they were good people. In addition, I get panic attacks easily and started hyperventilating at one point during the procedure, which is something that can be very embarrassing for me. Dr.

Hansen recognized I was having a problem right as it started and immediately and calmly walked me through a calming process that was more helpful than anything anyone had ever told me before, and did it in a way that didn't make me feel embarrassed or stupid. So all in all, it was the best dental experience I have had in my life, and I will be going to him until he retires. Which I hope, for my sake, is not for a very long time.

I have genetically soft enamel and where other dentists just drill and drill, Dr Hanson tries to keep my existing fillings in good shape so I don't have to have more done. And on those occasions when I do need work done, he is concerned about how I feel, taking time to make sure my bite is just right when he's done. Dr Hanson also stays up to date on all the professional journals and has sensitive teeth himself, so he reads to learn new things that might help.

His office staff are very nice and have worked for him for years and remember my name even if I haven't been in for any work in 6 months.
