Dr Brian is expert and my procedure was painless. I appreciated the time he and the staff took to explain the procedure and after care. Highly recommend.

Dr. Hoag was very friendly and very informative. He took the time to explain everything as far as my treatment plan and how my future dental health will look. Dr. Kacey (correct me if I’m wrong for spelling), she was absolutely amazing. She put the numbing gel on my gums as requested. She walked away and specifically let it sit on my gums so that I would feel just about nothing when she inserted the shots. She numbed my whole right side entirely and I didn’t feel a thing during the whole procedure. With my past dental experiences, she made me feel like I could come back without the fear of the pain from the needles. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time as well and that there was not one ounce of pain. I would love to see her again when I return for more periodontal work.

Dr. Kimme(correct me if I’m wrong again with spelling), I had seen her the second time. Maybe it’s just me, but she seems a bit older than Kacey so I feel that she rushed the whole appointment a bit. I was in and out within 30 minutes. She put the numbing gel on the outer part of my teeth. She didn’t let it sit for long (maybe a couple of seconds), and then she inserted the shots. I was in tears, I was digging my nails into whatever I could grip onto, and I was squeezing my feet together to try to distract my mind from the pain. At some points she was reminding me to breathe because my focus was on trying to get that pain out of my mind, so I was not focused on breathing and out of pain I would hold my breathe unknowingly. I get some dentists have their own way of doing things but it very well should have been in my charts that I already had fear of that pain due to previous experiences years ago. There was absolutely no excuse for not knowing what my pain tolerance was or my past experiences. My pain tolerance is low and one thing no one ever wants to feel is shots inside of their mouth with nearly no numbing topical because the dentist didn’t let it sit.

Not to mention, the inner part of my teeth were not numbed and I felt every pinch and scrape. I made it obvious when it finally got unbearable but then I felt like it was rushed and I just sat through it. I am happy that she was thorough and very informative, but I am unhappy with that experience and I hope I don’t see that dentist again. I do truly appreciate Konikoff and honestly my experience might not be everyone else’s. But I highly recommend Kacey if your pain tolerance is low and if you want someone that is very mindful of that and how you’re feeling the entire procedure. P. S.
