First, I appreciate that Dr Shashank Gattumeedhi's KindSmiles dental office in Raleigh takes my dental insurance Second, Debra at the front desk is excellent - pleasant, knowledgeable, timely, and truly helpful; and the dental assistant staff (including Jazmina, Priyanka, and others) are hygienic and careful to do a good job Third, Dr G strives to do his best for those who entrust themselves to his care; after examining a patient, he provides his expert counsel while also allowing the patient to have their say into how to proceed But do be prepared to not have a quick or rushed visit, and plan accordingly; and also Dr G's somewhat fast speech and bit of an accent might be a bit difficult for some to decipher, but just ask him to repeat himself and he will; and if you feel he has not quite understood what you have said, simply keep telling him until you do feel understood; by the end of it all, you will have a healthier mouth and a very good dentist and staff to help you have an enduring smile Please know that this is my free and unbiased opinion, and our entire family now happily go to Dr G's KindSmiles' office for all our dental care :)

I was rescheduled three times and didn’t make a big fuss, all I wanted was a deep cleaning. Of course I have to do an x-ray prior to a cleaning, fine as long as I can also get a cleaning. Doctor comes in, tries to convince me that I have a cavity, iv never had a cavity and neither has either of my parents. Then told me he didn’t have time for a cleaning and I would have to reschedule, again.

I took my x-rays to another dentist and guess what? No cavity… it’s scary what some practices do in order to get paid. I would recommend reading through the reviews before deciding on this dental location.

I recently switched my whole family over to Kind Smiles and I'm so glad I did! After years of feeling pressured and upsold at another dental practice, it was refreshing to have such an honest and straightforward experience. They provided excellent preventative care and clearly explained everything, without making me feel like I needed a bunch of unnecessary procedures.

Even better, they were amazing with my anxious 3-year-old son! He actually left his appointment happy and excited about having clean teeth. I highly recommend Kind Smiles to anyone looking for a trustworthy and family-friendly dentist!
