My experience at Kellyn Hodges has been very disappointing. To start, on 3 different occasions I chose the color rubber bands that I wanted for my braces but I was not giving that color nor did the technicians tell me that they were going to put a different color on my braces than what I chose. . During multiple appointments I was told and shown how to put my rubber bands on a certain way but for months there was not adjustments to my teeth. It wasn’t until my 2nd to last appointment that a technician told me that I had to wear them another different way and only then within a month I saw changes.

My last 4 appointments I have been schedule to get molded for my retainer but with me being directed to put my rubber bands on the incorrect way, my molding appointment kept getting pushed back which ultimately lasted 4 months. Ontop of my appointments getting pushed back, one of my lower bottom teeth was still twisted and not straight. How can I be molded for a retainer if my teeth are not straight? Every appointment the orthodontist would say “Looking good” which I then pointed out the crook in my teeth and she stated that she sees what i’m talking about and she’ll bend my wire to straighten it. It did help but why should I have to point out that my teeth are still not straight but yet they wanted to mold me for a retainer. With my teeth still not being straight, I was recommended to get a cosmetic procedure done with Kellyn Hodges sister company to get my gums cut for that “Hollywood Smile”.

The main focus should be getting my teeth straight, not cutting my gums to get more money out of me. I am supposed to be getting my braces taken off in 2 weeks but I’m still not satisfied with my results. I paid out of pocket for my braces, no help with insurance but it’s to the point that I want these braces off so I don’t have to deal with this company any longer. The only satisfaction I had at Kelly Hodges is that the employees are friendly and welcoming but that is it.

You cannot even support black owned business because of the customer service!!! Lack of communication is my concern. I was never informed about having to pay off a complete balance before getting my braces taken off I was charged automatically $179 just before my appointment and was STOPPED in the middle of my appointment to be notified that I had to pay an extra $210 before actually getting them taken off. NONE of this information was related to me before even making the appointment or during my last appointment. Or even during the time I reinstated for care and having to sign a NEW contract to prepare for removal.

There were no accommodations for the inconvenience at all. I will not be recommending anyone to this establishment.

When I first went for my braces I didn’t know what to expect. The knowledgeable staff here made everything easy to follow and understand throughout the treatments. 2 1/2 years later and my teeth are chef’s kiss perfect. 10/10 would highly recommend. I’m glad I chose Kellyn Hodges Orthodontics

I had a really disappointing experience at Kellyn Hodges From the start, it felt like their main concern was money, not my care. Every conversation seemed to revolve around payment plans and add-on services rather than what was actually necessary for my treatment. They kept pushing expensive options without fully explaining why they were needed, and I never felt like they had my best interest in mind.

It was clear they were more focused on making a sale than building trust or delivering quality care. If you’re looking for an orthodontist who genuinely cares about your health and not just your wallet, I’d recommend going elsewhere.
