I went to her 20 yrs ago for a root canal. She broke a file off in my tooth. Of course it was my fault because my root was too narrow.
Then she quoted a price that it would cost me to get it removed if should start to cause me any pain. Over the years I've meet 2 other patients of hers with the same story. It was a horrible, painful experience and over the years have referred people to Dr Mohorn in High Point, he is great! After explaining what happened and he saw the file on my X-ray he assured me I'd never leave his office with any of his equipment in my mouth- LOL

Dr. Boyd and her staff were very kind. I was suffering from an awful abcess and needed a root canal on the tooth. It was very painful and I had a great deal of swelling and had to call Dr. Boyd in the early morning hours.
Also had to visit and call the office a couple more times. Everyone was always kind and seemed truely concerned. I unfortunately will have to have another root canal that I'm not looking forward to, but it makes it a little easier when you have a staff that's friendly and caring.

My experience with Dr. Boyd has been very good. In the last year, she's done re-treatments on two old root canals which had come unsealed. The were originally done over twenty years ago and had developed infections below the teeth. I now have a problem with tooth that broke off and was capped many years ago, but didn't have a root canal done at that time.
I'm seeing Dr. Boyd to have a root canal on that tooth which has now started to cause problems. Her rates are more affordable than those of other endodontists with whom I've had work done. I would recommend her and her staff.
