Went here to get a tooth fixed and was told I was going to receive root extractions on 2 teeth at original consultation. Went in for appointment to have work done it was the worst experience having his hand shoved in my mouth Ginding for over it felt like hours was told I had Crack repair done to both teeth that I may have to get extractions. 1 week later I had the worst pain ever. 2 weeks after I was prescribed infection meds and pain meds made a appointment down Allegheny Hospital for surgery. Could not get ahold of this dentist to send referal that he was to send to Allegheny doctors at Allegheny they took X rays and told me they never seen such a butcher job. Allegheny told me to go see another dentist that he did not think that my tooth should be pulled. Couple weeks went by and I ended up.
Calling the dentist that did this butcher job to my teeth to receive another antibiotic and told me I had to come in to pick up a referral after I told his Allegheny said he was a butcher all conversation after that was aggressive on the phone with that tooth looking secretary voice. My son in law had tooth extracted at dentist in Scottdale PA. So I set up a appointment stopped in to this dentist to get my referral standing at the door for 15 minutes with dentist coming out after his customer he was working on with a look to kill asking me what I needed . I told him who I was and was here to pick up my refferal he started yelling at me with a very aggressive tone to get out I then told him I wasn't leaving with out the referral and if I do leave without it I would go straight to the magistrate and fill charges on him. This Dentist went back and brought out refferal slamming them at me his secretary started yelling and screaming at me with here fake teeth glaring in my face yelling at the top of both there lungs for me to get out. My guess is because I told him Allegheny doctors said he was a butcher. I did end up loosing my tooth.
I am not one to write bad reviews but after this experience I would not recommend for anyone to let this dentist do any dental work on your mouth. NOTE My wife had work done Here weeks before that is how I ended up going here and after my visit we both had real bad headaches for month's . My headaches finally went away after I got tooth pulled my wife is still dealing with headaches. I was also told my insurance didn't pay for this ròot extraction I mentioned well why didn't you ever tell me that before work was done I would of payed extra he said I couldn't afford what I was told he was going to do on his first consultation visit. So I really think the dentist at Allegheny oral surgery was right. This dentist is a real BUTCHER SHOP.

They are very good people and took the most basic of insurance. It was a very busy place (presumably because they were good at their job and also very caring). . . So they had only one room for me: The kids dental room.
They had cartoon characters up and it was fun to joke with the young lady doing a cleaning. She was so so nice. She was caring enough to avoid doing pain and if I protested, she used more care and caution. I've never had dentists this caring, nice and also skilled 10 stars, but only allows five. :)
