Took my dad in for tooth extraction. He was 86 years old, you could smell the infection on his breath. They pulled 5 teeth. . . gave no antibiotics. . . dad was not one to ever complain. We didn't know how bad he was getting. .
He was in the Korean war. . grew up with nothing. Weeks after the dental visit his body was so full of infection, we took him to the ER and he was septic. He was there in intensive care on such a strong antibiotic for a long time. So long. . . it wiped out his body's ability to produce red blood cells. . and he had to spend over a month in the nursing home during covid.
No visitors. From there on out he had to get blood transfusions and in two years he was in his grave. Worst malpractice ever. Do not go here. I called the office and asked why he didn't receive antibiotics, they told me it was because there wasn't any infection at the time of extraction. I knew better. Just terrible dentistry. 😞 before this appointment, dad drove on his own. Went grocery shopping and fed his cows every winter on his own. We had to sell his cows while he was in the nursing home.
