I have been coming to this office for years. At one point there was a lack of continuity due to staffing changes. More recently, this seems to have settled down. I love Dr. Jordan as my dentist and Kathy is the best hygienist ever. I even bring my son to her and she makes him feel completely at ease.

Have been going here for years and always a pleasant experience. Very professional. Very nice and clean office and exam rooms. Friendly staff.

Hygenists are amazing and really are great at what they do, and also take the time to get to know you. Dentists have always been very informative and seem to really care and take the time they need to make sure you're comfortable with your treatment plan, ask questions etc. Highly recommend!

At my most recent appointment I wasn’t told ahead of time that I’d be seeing someone else. Only found out when I got there that Dr. Shab was going to do my cleaning. He was polite, but it just wasn't the same.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with JD Howard Dental due to the significant inconvenience and financial loss I’ve endured. If no stars were an option, that would be my true rating. I first contacted the office as a new patient while dealing with complications from remote orthodontic treatment. I explained my situation in detail before scheduling, and the office assured me they could assist by evaluating my case and providing documentation for the company involved. While waiting for that appointment, I chipped a 15+ year-old filling and scheduled a same-day visit. During this appointment, I saw Dr. Shad, who advised me to stop wearing my current aligners due to jaw issues and repaired the chipped filling. Before the procedure, the office also encouraged me to enroll in their discount plan — an added expense I agreed to, assuming I’d be receiving ongoing treatment and support from their team. Unfortunately, the filling was poorly done.

It felt rough and was visibly misshapen, even altering the appearance of one of my front teeth. I voiced my concerns multiple times during the visit but was told to “live with it” and come back later if it still bothered me. I left feeling dismissed and unsure about the quality of care I had just received. Since then, the situation has only worsened. I followed up immediately to report the rough filling and confirm they received my previous dental X-rays, which were crucial for the evaluation they promised. Over the next 8–9 weeks, I made over 50 calls and left multiple voicemails. I was given inconsistent answers: they had the X-rays, they didn’t, the provider hadn’t reviewed them, or staff had recently been let go. My previous provider also confirmed they sent the X-rays several times, yet JD Howard Dental continually failed to follow through. I requested to speak with a manager and received one generic voicemail in return.

Since then, I’ve been continuing to call with no response — their system claims I’m “first in line,” then sends me to voicemail without the option to hold, every time. Because of this mismanagement, I’m now out nearly $1,800 — including the cost of the faulty filling, the in-house dental plan, and the lost opportunity to be refunded by the remote aligner company (which required written documentation from an in-person dentist). Worse, my teeth have significantly shifted after following Dr. Shad’s advice to stop wearing the aligners, and I now require additional orthodontic work to correct the damage. It’s deeply frustrating that a dental office with such high ratings could operate with this level of disorganization and disregard for patient care. I would strongly urge others to think twice before seeking treatment here.
