Excellent experience at Doctor Murphy's office today! Tracy my dental hygienist was informative, and efficient. All staff were congenial and provided a pleasant and relaxing environment.

I’m 36 years old. I was referred to Dr Murphy when I was 15-16 years old for a root canal and crown on a molar. Flash forward to now and that same tooth becomes infected. I was referred to an endodontist in Indianapolis (where I now live as an adult). When they pulled up the images of said tooth, you could VERY CLEARLY see a file or instrument was broken off in one of my roots. My issue here is that as a minor, my mother (who also works in the dental field) should’ve been well informed of the issue.
She was not. Now 20 years later I have to have my crown drilled into in an attempt to remove whatever Dr. Murphy broke off in my tooth. This proceedure alone is going to cost just over $2,000 WITH INSURANCE. If they’re not able to get it out, the next step is another $1500 WITH INSURANCE.

Dr. Murphy is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He calmly keeps you informed every step of the way and he and his kind staff are extremely patient if you need a minute to collect yourself. I would recommend Dr. Murphy 100%. I feel so lucky and blessed that he’s my dentist!
