Dr. Anonuevo and his staff have the best atmosphere of any dentist, doctor or any other office I’ve been to. They’re all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I really don’t have enough nice things to say about them. If you need a new dentist, this is the place.

I grew up in Jersey, went to HS outside of Chicago, spent 15 years in various places in California, and lived 5 years in Nicaragua. I've been to a bunch of different dentists, and Charlie Añonuevo and his staff are the absolute best BOTH SIDES OF THE MISSISSIPPI!! (And at least this side of the Panama Canal!!). The office is state-of-the-art. The staff are amazingly friendly and always smiling or exuding light and joy. And Charlie is a gentle professional. He served our country in the Army. He loves people, is a devoted disciple of Jesus, and has high integrity, and it's reflected through his whole operation.
He's great with kids and adults who've had terrible dental experiences (like myself). I've been going there long enough to have seen many different staff members. They have all been exceptional. I can't recommend Inspire Dentistry of the Carolinas and Dr. Añonuevo and his team highly enough! Give him a try, and you'll never need another dentist.

I've been a patient with Dr. A for over 6 years and from my experience, him and his staff have been nothing short of amazing. From regular cleanings to dental crowns, I've had a pleasant experience with every visit and whenever there's any problems, his team were 100% dedicated in making it right. Highly recommend him!

I visited the dentist yesterday after many years of avoiding it. For a long time, I relied on youth and didn’t give much thought to dental care. But as I’m getting older, I knew it was time to take this step and get ahead of any issues. So, when I found out I had cavities, I wasn’t surprised—I was ready for it and completely fine with the news. The staff member who took my X-rays and assisted with the prep work was wonderful—kind and professional. However, my experience took a turn when the dentist came in.
At first, the introduction was fine, but as he started examining my cavities, his demeanor changed. He seemed almost disgusted by how deep some of them were, and the way he spoke made me feel like I was disappointing a parent. Sitting there, vulnerable, and fully aware that it had been a long time since my last visit, I felt judged. I came in to start 2025 on the right foot, making an effort to better myself. But when the dentist finished, he simply threw his gloves in the trash and walked out—no goodbye, no “thank you for coming in,” nothing. His bedside manner was shockingly dismissive.
I mentioned my concerns to the assistant, who attributed his behavior to being busy. Maybe he was, but I saw him step outside at one point just to check if it was cold. It didn’t feel like a time issue—it felt like a lack of care. I don’t think I’ll be returning. I’m trying to make positive changes in my life, and I need support from healthcare professionals, not judgment or indifference.
