Ideal Dental University Place

Ideal Dental University Place lives up to its name—truly ideal for dental care. My family switched here 2 years ago, and it’s been a seamless experience. Dr. Gomez is fantastic with my 7-year-old, making cleanings fun with a “tooth explorer” game, and she’s equally thorough with my husband’s crown work. The hygienists are gentle yet detail-oriented, and they always take time to answer questions.

The office is modern and bright, with a kid-friendly corner that keeps my daughter occupied. They offer early morning and evening appointments, which fit our busy schedules perfectly. Insurance is handled smoothly, and costs are clear upfront. It’s dental care that feels thoughtful and efficient—we couldn’t ask for a better practice.

My experience started great. Then it all went down hill. I was given one price that was too high for my budget, they told me they were doing me a favor and lowered the price to what I could afford. Instead they just did less work than what was needed. I ended up being in severe pain after and they said “oh we decided not to do that root canal”. I had to come back in for an additional root canal that was mysteriously covered by the dental office. I then came back in for a cleaning and for my crowns.

I was told I need to make another appointment for my crowns to be looked at after the cleaning to make sure they are all still fitting and not causing pain. I made the appointment and I get a call the day before saying my insurance is maxed out for the entire year. I’m not covered for my next appointment for any cleanings for the remainder of the year. I laughed on the phone because of everything I have already been through with the dentist facility. Arlene hung up the phone on me. I believe I was lied to and fraud was committed by this company. It’s a shame that they have people like Arlene running their front desk who truly do not want to help the customers understand.

If I could shared the recording of Arlene today I’m sure many people would not want to do business with this company. She was rude and dismissive and never tried to help understand. Instead told me I’m being difficult so she’s going to be difficult . Yolanda was nothing less than amazing to me however I was still not ever given a clear bill of the treatment that was done and when I asked for a treatment plan arlene told me “If you want to be difficult I can be difficult too” and walked away. Arlene cancelled my appointment for tomorrow and walked away. I hope no one spends their money here as I truly believe they are committing fraud and do not have the best interest for their customers. This place is great. They took X-rays, and a picture of my gums and teeth. I needed 4 fillings. Dr. Gill was great. And was able to do the fillings same day. There was no surprise with costs, everything was discussed after the initial imaging and consult.

I have been client with Ideal Dental for one year now. Very happy with the service from Dr Le and the staff. They are very kind, professional. Easy to work with, always giving out best options for me to select. And time are very flexible for me to come in for the appointment.
