Diane is my hygienist and not only does an excellent cleaning she’s very knowledgeable and answers all of my concerns. She’s very complimentary which gives me a good feeling. . The Staff is also very nice.

I'd been seeing the hygienist who works in this office for over 10 years. I like her work so much I drove 40 minutes just to go to see her. The doctor is also very good. A few weeks ago I started getting voicemails stating that I had an outstanding balance. The woman who works in the office called but left no name and no dollar amount. Since I was coming in for a cleaning in a few weeks I assumed I could just take care of it then. It seemed strange because I pay for my visits every time I go. The voicemails kept coming. I was told that my account was 90 days past due and yet I had not received any invoice in the U. S. mail or in email. Still no name or dollar amount.

I was now set to get my cleaning in 8 days. I decided to call back and was told by this woman I had an $80-some dollar balance. I said OK but you never sent me an invoice and was confused how I was supposed to know about this or pay it. The address she had on file was somehow an old address that somehow predates me coming in to that office. They lost my current address. Since I was set to have a cleaning in 8 days, I asked if she could possibly wait until then to receive the money that I didn't know until now that I owed. She said OK. I pointed out to her that if they had charged me the correct amount at my last visit or managed to send me an invoice that I would have gladly paid and that I could not be 90 days late for a bill I never received. I tried to make clear that the error was on her end and not mine. She could not handle this criticism. She got very upset and told me "If that's how you're going to talk to me, we don't want your business. " I then said "What did I say wrong?" and she hung up on me.

The following day I called to settle my balance with her. She asked if she could send me the invoice via email since they had my correct email address all along and I paid. All she had to do the whole time was send me an email with the correct dollar amount but instead chose this route with multiple cryptic, demanding phone messages. She did not apologize or even acknowledge her unprofessional behavior. Since I was told in clear terms that my business was not wanted I found another dentist. It's sad because I very much liked my hygienist and doctor. Unfortunately, this woman (who wouldn't tell me her name) is beyond reproach and is unable to admit any fault with her office. You invited a satisfied patient, who always paid on time, to leave the practice when you could have just waited 8 days to receive $80 in person. Strange behavior. TL;DR The office lost my current address and told me I was 90 days late paying a balance for which I never received an invoice. When I pointed out their error I was invited to leave the practice and hung up on.
