Dr Horsley is an Endodontist who will be honest with you and not perform an unnecessary root canal. She took the time to assess my teeth to determine if a root canal was necessary. A root canal wasn't necessary in my case. I have had multiple root canals performed by Dr Horsley in the past and the root canals are at least 20 years old without any issues. I highly recommend Dr. Horsley.

Dr. Horsley is the best dentist in the field. She performed both of my root canals and did so with professionalism and kindness. The first procedure was an emergency root canal so I was in excruciating pain.

She was able to calm my nerves and perform the procedure while explaining what she was doing step by step. I of course went back for the second procedure without hesitation and was treated with the same professional and painless experience. A root canal is stressful enough, let Dr. Horsley and her staff take care of the difficult parts for you!

Very disappointed. Was advised a root canal was needed over a crowned tooth. I wanted to have the tooth extracted instead of having the entire costly process completed. However, the dentist continued with the root cancal process. During the process, she then advised the tooth needs to be extracted. She mangled my crown and I was left with a jagged piece of porcelain edge rubbing against my tongue.

Not to mention was displacent and left remaining pieces of amalgam silver filling in my mouth, which are very toxic. The dentist charged me and billed MY dental insurance for work half completed, I requested my portion to be refunded, as only have a job was completed and have been ignored. I am only asking for what is fair, as half of an incomplete job was done. . .

My wife and son were out of town visiting family in New Hampshire in June 2023 and Dr. Susan Horsley was the only dentist in the area available on short notice to address my son’s tooth pain. They said that my son needed a root canal and since they didn’t take our insurance we were quoted an out-of-pocket price of $1299 which was paid in full on the spot via credit card. The procedure took longer than expected because Dr.

Horsley didn’t have the longer rods in stock, then sent my son away for an hour because she wanted to make a phone call and subsequently charged us for two visits. Two weeks later we received a bill for an additional $396 so I called the office to discuss and they refused to honor the original agreed-upon price even though Dr. Horsley acknowledged the verbal agreement made by her staff and subsequently took collections action against us for $503 (unscrupulously inflated from the additional $396 they demanded because $500 is the minimum amount that can be legally reported to collections). We have filed a complaint with the New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure and Certification as well as the NH Dental Society.

Please reply hear if you have experienced similar issues with Dr. Horsley as I wish we had been warned of this dishonest practice beforehand.
