I started at Hintz Dentistry when they were by I- 235. Now we take the entire family to Ankeny and a brand new facility and every comfort you can imagine. Love the dentists and the technicians they do a great job! 58 years and counting, zero cavities! I do cleanings every 30 days, deep cleaning every 3 years, and the wife had total extraction and dentures, all while she was pregnant

My son (21 mos) dislikes his mouth being messed with in any capacity. We were able to get in and out for his first cleaning in under 15 minutes. Both the dentist and assistant were so helpful in getting him to be calm. Can't wait to continue coming here myself!

If you have had a bad experience with a dentist you thought was a sadist, and that has been keeping you from getting work done you know you should not be ignoring, you should feel comfortable going to Hintz Family Dentistry. I don't leave many reviews, but I had to give these folks two enthusiastic thumbs up because they deserve it. They are awesome

I had my first ever cavity filling today. I was more nervous about it than I expected to be! I don't remember his name, but the dentist who helped me was wonderful. He made sure I was thoroughly numb (all the way up to my eye socket!), which i greatly appreciated.

He also described what he was doing throughout the process, and whenever I tensed up he gently encouraged me to breathe, and assured me that everything was going smoothly. It barely took half an hour to be done and on my way. Overall it was a quick, painless experience, which is exactly what one would hope for! Thanks for your care, guys!!
