I’m very disappointed with the lack of transparency and communication from this office. After my father had a cleaning, we received a $136 statement. During the visit, they recommended some additional work and said there would be an $80 charge, which we paid immediately. Later, when I called to ask why we were still receiving a $136 bill, the office told me we had to wait 94 days for insurance to cover it. That’s something we should have been informed about from the beginning.

We were never told there would be a delay or that we’d still get billed in the meantime. It feels like they’re just trying to get money out of you without clearly explaining what’s going on. Very frustrating experience, and we won’t be returning.

(Updating my review to a one star: thanks to internet care instructions, since I was barely given any by the providers, I realized I should have been given gauze to bit down on for 30-60 minutes to help a clot form. Instead, I’m sitting here, still bleeding, waiting for my husband to bring some home) I will never return to this office and hope Dr. Denney in DeSoto County has open spots. I will like need decent follow up care. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience so others can be aware. To be honest, two stars feels a little generous.

I just had a tooth extraction at this office, and the overall care felt rushed and careless. They had me fill out all this paperwork online, and somehow none of my info made it into my file? The dentist performed the procedure without placing a bib or any protective covering, which is something I’ve never experienced at any medical or dental appointment before. After the extraction and stitches, I was left to clean up the blood on my face and neck. If I had not had a bottle of water with me, I wouldn’t have been able to do even that. The sink didn’t work. While they did avoid getting any on my clothing, it was unsettling to leave visibly messy without any effort to clean me up.

I was prescribed pain medication and antibiotics, but the post-op instructions were minimal—I was only told not to use a straw and to chew on the other side for a while. No written instructions were provided, and there was no clear explanation of what to expect during recovery or when to call if something seemed wrong. While nothing about the procedure felt unsafe, the overall experience felt haphazard and lacking in basic patient care and professionalism. I hope this office takes steps to improve how they communicate with and care for their patients.

I went to the office in Collierville as a new patient with pain in my upper right molar and lower right gums. The person that attended to me said she was going to take ex rays of them, then decided to check my bite first. She said my bite was off and filed down my upper molar, never took any ex rays. She said it would take a week to feel better. The charge was $100 for 5 minutes of work.

One week later I was in worse pain so I went to a different dentist, they took ex rays and found I have a crack in the upper tooth and a crack in my lower bridge. I need $10,000 worth of work. So I may be out $100 but you're out $10,000. What a sham office! Don't waste your time or money like I did!
