This place used to be amazing under the direction of the father Dr. Hess, but sadly isn’t anymore. I called and made an appointment 3 months ago because I have a chipped tooth and it is extremely painful to drink or eat anything cold. This week they called to cancel my appointment because they can’t find a hygienist to work that day and thought nothing of me dealing with this pain until September.
On top of that the younger Dr. Hess who now runs the practice refused to see my mother because she’s on dialysis even though there are zero precautions for getting your teeth cleaned or minor dental procedures when you are on dialysis. Anyone with a basic understanding of the medical field would know this, but I’m not surprised that Dr. Hess doesn’t seeing as it took him 6 years to even get into dental school.
His dad kept blaming it on the fact that he’s “a white male” but let’s be real it was because his grades were lousy. He even had to get a masters degree to be considered for dental school because his grades were so bad. It’s such a shame because the older Dr. Hess was one of the most caring and compassionate individuals I have ever met and his son is in no way living up to his legacy

My family and I have been going to Hess Family Dentistry since the early 90s. I moved away for five years and didn’t go to the dentist (oops!!) and after going back recently they helped me through a long journey to get back to healthy teeth and gums. Attaching before and after pics of my teeth.
Dr. Matt is just as good as his dad and that’s a high compliment! Love them both and the rest of the staff.

My family and I use to go here. It was really great a while ago. Front desk lady who answers the phone, just rude. There’s plenty of other dentists in the area to go to and have much better customer service!

Matt is a first class Dentist. Cares about his patients and makes sure they are happy with his treatment when he’s done. Hess dentistry has been our dentist for 20+ years. I highly recommend him.
