I'll start off by saying Mazda was a good dentist but over years I have only seen Mazda once. All my issues were with other people then him. Between billing issues where I've over paid, then had to point it out in my records to get credited back. Then received papers from my dental insurance showing they still charged the whole amount again to. Then being strung along. I was getting a set of immediate dentures put in was told because they do not make them I had to pay for the complete set by the day I received my first plate. So I paid for my plates, and the rest of my top teeth to get pulled. I got a the top plate it didn't fit . Plus the teeth were the wrong size and they gave me off white teeth. I had already told the her when picking them out that those teeth look like baby teeth and they were not white. She said that because I smoke and drink coffee that I wouldn't want a white set. I told her I disagreed that no one wants to pay that much money and they not be white .

Now I have 2 teeth I need to do a emergency walk in with and get removed because 1 just broke and the other come loose at the same time. I told them I was in pain I need to come get them removed, then come back in once healed to get my bottom plate put in. Then they made me wait all week when I told them I need to come in asap. Just to be told they want to set up a appointment to do my x-ray , a cleaning and exam. After telling them the understood the x-ray because they have to pull teeth but the rest I don't need to have for 2 emergency extracted teeth. There is no need to pay to clean the teeth that I needed to have removed? Then she goes on to tell me that I only paid for my top and that I don't have a bottom plate even though I was fitted for my top and bottom 2 times. The first time when they came back wrong and the second time which the top replaced my first top and my bottom couldn't be installed yet because I was still waiting to pull teeth. It was a long time between each visit 2021, 2022 and 2023. How I was charged for a complete set of plates and my top teeth in between the end of 2018 and 2019. Dr. Mazda you may have been told I haven't been in sense 2019, but the set of dentures was paid for 11/2018 and my top was removed and plate put in before the end of 2019 although I'm not sure if the replacement was in 2020 but was seen 11/2020 was the last visit until 2022 and 2023. With covid coming out I understood the limiting of appointments do to covid but I have been in multiple times in between 2018 and my last billing issues I had on 8/1/2023 which even with covid is a very long time.

After issues with 2 dentists that are no longer there and the issues with billing. Mazda was the only one I never had any issue with but I could never get scheduled with even after asking. P. S. Dr. Mazda after seeing your reply I did call your office and ask if I could talk to you or you call back when available also if could I set a appointment with you for the following day . I was put on hold listening to music for 5 min. then hung up on. Thinking it might have been a accident I called back 2 times to get no answer instead the answering machine. So I did try and straighten these issues out but obviously that is not something your front desk is interested in.

Don't use this dentist unless you are rich. The first time I went in was because I broke a tooth. They put a temporary cap and it cost me $420 and I would owe another $400 for the permanent crown. Then I went in for full exrays and cleaning that is covered by my insurance but they charged me another $420 even after I was quoted $289.

The last time I went in they filled 3 cavities and they charged me over $700. I went in today and I was told I had to pay $283 before any more work was done so I asked if they would forward my records to where ever I want them to and I was told yes. I'll keep posting if I have problems with them forwarding exrays that they have already been paid for. Im Carl McFarland
