I went to Happy Teeth after I lost a temporary crown and my regular dentist was not available. Dr. Leong quickly fabricated and installed a new temp crown. The experience was painless and explained clearly. I’d definitely recommend Happy Teeth to others.

I always have a great experience with my Dr. Penny and her team. I have never had a great experience at the dentist since I always felt like I had a cavity. Then I started coming to Happy Teeth she absolutely educated and helped me get to a point my last few appointments were just cleanings and no concerns.

I was grinding my teeth at night, exposing soft spots in my teeth for cavities to grow. She got me a mouth guard and my teeth have been great since! I’m sad to be moving out of state, she is an amazing dentist. I can’t recommend her and her team enough!

After a painful cleaning, Dr. Leong recommend 4 fillings. I was initially happy she could do them in one visit but I started to question why I needed so many after having no cavities on my visits to other dentists before. It’s years later now and two of those poorly done fillings have required root canals. Beware

I wish I never went here. Penny can’t seem to get her billing right. She quotes one price before treatment and the next time would I would see her the price has changed and she would say we owed more money. This happened many times between my wife and myself. Every. Single. Time. Most recently my wife finished an expensive treatment.

She was quoted $800 for the last phase. My wife paid at her visit a few weeks ago. Just today, on the follow up visit, my wife was told she owed another $500 because my insurance “got worse. ” My insurance hasn’t changed. Why is this always a problem with Penny? I’m not sure if she is awful with insurance, dishonest, or both. For some reason when I saw for teeth cleaning, it cost hundreds in addition to what was covered by insurance even though she is “in-network. ” Switching to a new dentist, it costs $25. No surprises.

After all these inconsistencies and finally moving to another dentist I feel scammed by Dr Penny. if I could go back I would have found someone else before going through a long and costly ordeal. All of this while being the roughest dentist with the worst bedside manner I’ve ever encountered. I only stayed because I liked the old dental hygienist who was outstanding but I believe she left and now there is a revolving door of new hygienists who lack experience and skill. The only relief is that I never have to go back there again and my new dentist is superior by any objective or subjective measure.
