My own personal experience there was overall good. We were hands-on, learning from slides, and practicing on other students. The program is a 10 week course and goes by so fast. To be honest, it seemed like Dr. Herington didn’t care to get to know any of us like she promised during the open house. She wasn’t even there for graduation and when she was there she seemed like she had a bad attitude.

Ms. Louisa was so real and helping with all the students. Overall great school, but I do wish they would let us use PVS instead of alginate. In other words, the program should have been more updated with dentistry today.

I can't say enough good things about Cindy and the doctors at GDCA! The course is short but covers everything and more you would need to know about assisting. With small class sizes and a hands on approach, you get a real world idea of your job and one on one attention. Cindy helped facilitate shadowing at different offices to see which specialty I would enjoy.

I had a job by week 8 and was able to start working and pay off the schooling in no time. I highly recommend GDCA for assisting and a stepping stone for those interested in pursuing hygiene.

Awesome school, amazing knowledgeable and very helpful instructors. Gwinnett Dental Career Academy, offers a very productive and hands-on program. It is amazing how much fun you will have learning and gaining knowledge to become a successful dental assistant.

I cannot express how much I have enjoyed this program. I highly recommend Gwinnett Dental Career Academy in Suwannee, for those wanting to pursue a career in dental assisting.
