My husband had not seen a doctor in 15 years; reluctant to see a doctor. When I finally convinced him to do an annual checkup we decided to go to Foundcare. He had the worst experience with Dr. Collazo, a person who makes you feel stupid just for asking a question. I was in the room with them so I witnessed everything. He started asking routine questions about medical history and all that.

Every answer from my husband was interrupted by him, never let him finish talk. My husband states he has asthma since he was a kid, so he asked about symptoms, and my husband says: difficulty breathing, chest pain, wheezing sound and that he has to use an inhaler very often. At the end of the consult he says "do you have any questions"? Then I ask him if he could prescribe albuterol for his asthma, and he immediately says yelling at him " I asked you if you suffered from any conditions and you said no". We were like. . .

so he did not remember we mention he had asthma? or he wasn't paying attention at all? I felt so bad with my husband because I encouraged him to visit a doctor and he had to run into this person. Not professional at all. Now he is definitely not coming back for follow up, thanks to him.

I was introduced to Foundcare by my mother in Palm Springs. I was laid off from work and didnt have insurance. They took me in, asked financial questions and they put me on a sliding scale that I could afford. Violet was my health care advocate and she guided me and helped booked all of my appointments (OBGYN, Physical and mammogram). My health mattered to her along with my mental health.

It is because of people like Violet that keep me coming back to Foundcare!!! She is a true gem and I am blessed to have her on my side. I do not have any complaints of the staff located at the Palm Springs and Okeechobee location. Truly amazing people. THEY TRULY CARE about their community!!! Kuddos to the gal at reception (cant remember her name but she always has an amazing quote the front desk) Dr Carlos, Dr Casanova and all of the nurses. THANK YOU

Love this place! Crystal at the desk is a sweetheart and always very helpful. Not only do they offer a sliding scale for uninsured but they get you in quick, often same day. All the doctors and nurses I’ve encountered have been wonderful from their service to their medical expertise.

I been coming to foundcare with my 3 teenagers girls , every time i come in Dee from the pediatric department take good care of me and the girls, she's on top of everything, she welcome us and everyone with a smile and willingness to help everyone is remarkable, Foundcare is lucky to have her. She is someone special and love to help others.
