Our experienced dental professionals are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality care.
Dr. Norton will come in the room and leave, not answer questions, not really check anything. She does not seem to care at this point just processing as many people as she can quantity not quality, get in and out quickly. . . Every 6 months I had a checkup , each time I complained of pain from the same tooth. Each time a different reason, "I need a softer toothbrush", next 6 months "lets file the top of the tooth down" 3rd visit "oh that tooth needs a root canal".
She does not do root canals so I got sent somewhere else to have that done (Insurance only pays for two checkups a year so I had to pay for another visit). Finally after a year and a half The tooth got repaired and the pain I thought I would have to live with stopped. Checkups are just that, checking up to prevent problems, not just collect the insurance money for the checkup. I have to find another dentist. You will see from reviews at one time this was a good place to go, not anymore.

Nice workers but when it comes to needing to call for a question or book an appointment no one ever answers also they are bad at calling back once you leave a voice message. I called and got sent to the voicemail all day and still haven’t gotten a call back since they been open and they are about to close now. This is unprofessional.

Thank you Dr. Gentry, you are at life saver!! I had broken a crown over Memorial Day weekend and Dr. Gentry arranged for me to meet him at his office on Memorial Day and he repaired the crown! I had a very important meeting on Tuesday morning in NC and Dr Gentry went WAY ABOVE & BEYOND to help me! Thank you so much!!

This really should be a 1 star review, but years ago they did good work for me, so I bumped it up to 2 stars for old time's sake. Last week, I had a horrible toothache and, having been a patient at Forest Family dentistry several years ago, I called to make an appointment. Turned out to be a huge mistake and a waste of time. The lady who answered the phone put me on hold for about 5 minutes, and then, when she finally picked up, she asked me curtly if I was a patient there. I told her than I was indeed a patient there and gave her my name. I told her that I was in excruciating pain and that I needed help. She looked me up in the system, confirmed that I was a prior patient, but told me that I had not been seen recently enough for Forest Family Dentistry to "deem" me to be a patient any longer or to care about me at all, and it was obvious that neither she nor anyone else there cared about my toothache. They did not want me as a "new" patient. No "sorry.
" No, "we're short-staffed. " No "why don't you call over Dr. XYZ? I understand they are taking new patients. " No NOTHING. She LITERALLY hung up on me and left me to call somebody else (AND I AM GLAD I DID - PLEASE SEE MY 5 STAR REVIEW OF THIS DENTIST WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT HELPING PATIENTS). This is NO way to treat anybody, especially former patients. I understand being busy, or short-staffed or whatever. The LAST thing I want to do is to go to any dentist who is either unable or unwilling to treat me. BUT.
. . . There is just no excuse for the curt, rude and uncaring tone that Forest Family Dentistry's patient contact staff exhibited in my call and there is simply NO excuse for refusing to help former patients find another dentist, if you are going to turn them away. As I wrote, years ago, I had a completely different and extremely positive experience at Forest Family Dentistry, so there is certainly room and ability to improve there. But until then, I would choose another dentist, and, having found a better dentist, I will never go back to Forest Family Dentistry.
