* Pre-Appointment and Initial Impressions: I called and was immediately connected to a person in the office (no automated system or outsourced hotline). When scheduling the appointment, the assistant took into account the urgency of my situation and was able to schedule me for the following day rather than having to wait days or weeks. The office parking was ample and fully accessible for patients who may have disabilities. * Office Environment and Facilities: Front desk staff were very friendly and handled all administrative paperwork without issue. Waiting area, back offices, and patient rooms were all clean, organized, and in outstanding order. Excellent compliance with sterilization and regulatory guidelines. * Professionalism and Clinical Expertise: The dental assistant, Bethany, was exceptionally personable and very quick to establish professional rapport.
I immediately had the impression that my treatment and care were the top priority. This was reinforced numerous times throughout both my initial assessment appointment and my surgery the following morning. Dr. Guy, from the moment she introduced herself, maintained the absolute highest standards of professionalism, knowledge, and patient care. She was eager to obtain my personal account and asked relevant questions, then used my input to construct a diagnosis and multiple treatment plans which she explained in detail. She answered every question I had with a thoroughness beyond my expectation and worked with me to choose the treatment plan that worked best for me specifically. She performed the surgery the following morning, again with her assistant Bethany, both of whom exhibited the same level of meticulousness and regard for my comfort as the day prior.
It is very clear that Dr. Guy enjoys what she does and is passionate about the field. It is my belief that her standard of excellence is a boon to the profession as a whole, and that her competence is exceeded only by her character. * Communication, Transparency, and Patient Engagement: When discussing my treatment plan, financial considerations were factored in. The office standards for remuneration are clearly and unambiguously depicted on a single easy-to-read document. Pre-operational and post-operational care were covered without room for misinterpretation, and I was provided with a phone number to call at any time if I had any questions or concerns.

I just left Dr Guy’s office! They are amazing!! I couldn’t ask for better experience! The ladies at the front desk immediately make you feel welcome! Bethany was very friendly, sweet, and knowledgeable! Dr. Guy was also very friendly and explained the entire procedure to me in detail and answered all of my questions. Amazing job ladies!! Dr. Guy is an exceptional provider; she cares about her patients, goes above and beyond, and makes you feel comfortable in what typically brings fear and anxiety. She is an expert in the field and provides quality care. She spends time with you and listens to all concerns! If you need dental work done, I 100% wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Guy! You won't be disappointed!!

Let's be real - nobody likes to have dental work done! As an adult with a history of childhood trauma it is important to me to have providers who really care about your health & comfort and are willing to go the extra mile to make it as pleasant as possible. The team at Flowertown Periodontics is just what I needed.
