Dental Clinics in Tamiami Trl E, Naples, Collier County, Florida

This was the worst experience I have ever encountered when trying to get in to see a dentist. Let me start at the beginning. On Friday morning 11/8/24 I broke a tooth..I knew it would more than likely result in having an extraction done. I called the dental office at approximately 3pm to make an appointment asap..I was very happy they said they could get me in the next day , Saturday 11/9/24. I gave all my insurance information and asked all the right questions regarding if my insurance would be billed directly and I was assured it would be.mind you I am on s.s. but work part time as to make ends meet.Noone gets excited to go to the dentist ,however this morning I was to get this broken tooth taken care of. My appointment was scheduled for 230pm as I work till 2pm. I received a call from the dentist office early in the morning and was told I needed to come in earlier if an extraction was needed as they would not have time if I waited till my scheduled appointment. So I left work early,I arrived at the office and was told I would need to pay for the service since it was Saturday and the insurance company was not open. This is why I scheduled on Friday and gave all insurance information and asked specific questions as to payment.i explained all this to the person checking me in. All he could say was I must have talked to their call center because they close at 1pm on Friday. Why in the world would a business give false information to patients? Especially those in extreme pain caused by a broken tooth ? If I would have been told the truth I could have went elsewhere and also would not have lost my employment wages for nothing.I would not recommend this place to anyone for even a simple cleaning let alone an emergency situation.Needless to say they lost several thousand dollars from dental work that I would have had done, my insurance covers $4,800 annually. Don't waste your time here..Look for a real professional.
