I LOVE Family Dentistry of West Salem. I went there to have a tongue tie procedure done for my infant. They did an incredible job and improved the nursing experience for me tremendously. I also just finished a round of Invisalign for myself. I had braces as a kid, but my teeth shifted. I didn’t want to do braces again so Dr.
Weber talked me through Invisalign. I was very hesitant at first, but it was an incredible experience. WAYYY better than braces in that it was less painful, you could see the progress week to week, I could talk normally and being on zoom calls no one really noticed. And now, my teeth look better than ever! I highly recommend Dr. Weber and his staff.

After a couple of very bad experiences with dentists, I seriously put off visits to any dentist. There was nothing in my mouth bothering me enough to motivate me to a dentist. Last year, my husband needed a tooth pulled, and upon taking his blood pressure, Dr. Weber declined to remove the tooth.
My husband's blood pressure was incredibly high! When I started having issues with my teeth, I decided to force myself into the chair and who better than the one who probably saved my husband's life. All of the staff made me feel very comfortable, all were sympathetic to my past experiences, and no one demeaned me for waiting so long. I would highly recommend this fine office--great professional staff.

I was experiencing some tooth pain and they were able to get me in for an appointment the next business day. Lacy was great and really understanding of me being anxious. Jodie was very nice at check out and made sure I understood the next steps for my care.

I was scheduled for my 6 month cleaning today at 9:00am. I got the call yesterday to remind me & it said I could text the number to confirm or cancel, I texted yesterday & again last night explaining I have a migraine and would not make it (I have had this migraine going on 3 days now, so I knew i still wouldn’t be well enough to go to the appointment since it still wasn’t letting up yesterday). They must not have gotten my texts because I received calls from them today, but what surprised me was they weren’t calling mad that I wasn’t there, they seemed genuinely concerned that I missed. I called them to explain why I wasn’t there & that I tried texting yesterday, the worker was SOOO KIND!!! I am absolutely baffled by how understanding and supportive they were about it. Sparta dentistry was the complete opposite 4 years ago.
I was scared West Salem Family Dental would be like Sparta Dentistry when I missed one appointment (I had called and left a voicemail stating I wouldn’t be in at 6:30am but they didn’t care, you HAVE TO give 24 hour notice with them even when it’s something that just comes up (like a migraine) & they were so rude). I absolutely hate rescheduling, and rarely do but when I get a bad migraine I’m out for a couple days at least. It was just so nice how understanding & kind West Salem Family Dental was about it. If you live in the surrounding area and are looking for a new dentist, 1000/10 recommend West Salem Family Dental. The worker got me scheduled again in about 3 weeks.
I don’t think the texts to confirm/cancel go through, so I did learn that I should just call them back instead of texting the confirm/cancel number. I’m giving them 5 stars because every time I’ve gone there in the past they have done a great job, my son (20 months) likes them, & because they genuinely seem to care about your well-being. I was worried when I was calling in because I’m still dealing with the lingering migraine & didn’t want to deal with a rude person making me feel worse, but it was so sweet how nice they were about it that I knew I needed to write this review right away.
