At this point if I could leave a zero star rating I would, but im happy to leave one star for the very few good staff members this place actually has. Vera, (one of the front desk girls) being one of them, she has always been so kind and has even assisted doctor for one of my appointments and she provided one of the best experiences i've ever had here. So thank you, Vera. I have come to this dentist for as long as I remember. Up until recently (the past 2-3 years), overall this office was great from what I could tell. . Hygienists and Dr. Dirani himself. Priya has often talked very nasty over the phone, in person and treated me as I was an inconvenience to her day and office. . but over time I just realized this was her personality and I just let it go. But that hasn't stopped her from asking me to leave a raving review 11 months ago. Which I did, even though I was highly unsatisfied even at that time, but I tend to give people way too many chances to make things right. As I did with this office. I've now erased my raving review to replace it with the truth of my recent few years at Dr. Dirani's offices, both Bloomfield and Novi. I realized I am not only doing myself a disservice by believing this is a great place, but also doing a disservice for people that may want to come here. I could provide many stories and examples of things that happened, that I let slide that I now know I should have not. But, I will stick to my most recent which is still a lot to share! A few years ago, I had to get a crown on one of my teeth. When receiving the crown after brushing my teeth for for the first time I noticed extreme sensitivity on the inner part of the tooth. Felt almost like a cavity! The next time I went to the dentist I was told by hygienists and Dr. Dirani that with crowns it is now always possible to seal the tooth all the way and that it is common for nerve ending to show and that is what was happening in this case.

Every time I went for my annual cleaning I complained about the pain and sensitivity and was told the same thing every single time. One time my crown fell off and I had to go back in to get it cemented in. A piece had chipped off the crown in the process as well. Doctor just smoothed out that part of the tooth and cemented it back on. The piece that chipped off, happened to be in the exact same area where the nerve was already exposed. . causing the pain and sensitivity to be even worse than it was before and unbearable. STILL, I was told that this happens with crowns and there is nothing that can be done. At this point cold air, warm or cold food, brushing, flossing, ANYTHING is painful. As of December 2024 (not even a month ago). . I am STILL told there is nothing to be done. The hygienist gave me a spray of baking soda mixture, which she said would help with my sensitivity. FLASH FORWARD, to today where I finally got the nerve to go see a new dentist about many problems I am having. . . . . Where he noticed on his own, immediately, the amount of nerve showing and said that I should have never left the dentist in the first place with it ever looking that way. He also noticed how the crown is not even the correct size and that my bite was completely off causing issues to other teeth! He said there in fact is a temp fix but said the crown needs to be replaced as soon as I am comfortable enough to do so. Another recent event. .

. . 3 cleanings ago, so approximately 1. 5 years ago. . I started to not be able to chew on one of my teeth. Just had a lot of sensitivity and it felt like a pain ive never had before. Over the course of time, it has gotten to a point where chewing on that side of my mouth was not possible AT ALL. Every time I brought it up to the hygienist and dentist. . of course I was told everything is fine. . FAST FORWARD to today. . . seeing my new dentist. . . I learned, everything is not fine. I think they have some of the best service that you could ever ask from a family dentistry of Novi. They have the best staff and Dr. Dirani and his crew of the greatest. I’ve been coming here now for at least 10 years.
