Family-Braces

Family braces is exactly what its name suggests—perfect for the whole family! My 12-year-old son and I both got braces here, and the experience was seamless. Dr. Chen and her team are amazing with kids and adults alike, explaining each step clearly. The office is bright and kid-friendly with a video game corner, but still feels professional for grown-ups.

They offer flexible payment plans that fit our budget and never push unnecessary add-ons. My son loves picking out colored bands each visit, and I appreciate how they check in on progress with photos. Adjustments are quick and virtually pain-free. Finally, an orthodontist that makes braces feel fun—highly recommend for families!

The staff at this facility are very pleasant, accommodating and professional. They book appointments promptly, change them when needed and make you want to come back. The doctors are absolutely amazing as well and are very through, efficient and professional. I would recommend this practice for braces, aligners and other orthodontic needs.

Yet again, another great experience with Family braces! My daughter had issues with a wire and we were able to get prompt and expert help after hours (9 pm!) from Elizabeth and a morning appointment to be seen right away.

They not only took care of her, but the doctor took the time to look at her progress and advise and that level of care is extraordinary and we are lucky to have found the best Pediatric Orthodontist in Atlanta! Thank you all for your exceptional service and care!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I’m so frustrated with this place I have to vent somewhere. I unfortunately used this practice as they are in the same office as my kids’ dentist office and we were referred by their dentist. I have never had to deal with orthodontists before, so I had no idea what to consider.

This place is only in the office about twice a week and majority of the times after either of my kids braces have been adjusted, we’ve had to go back to get wires clipped, so they’ve either had to wait a few days or I drive to another location that is much farther away. This last time, my daughter waited 2 days for them to be back in the office, and we waited over 10 minutes past her appointment time. I mean, 10 minutes isn’t too long (unless you show up 10 min late to the appointment), but this was a quick 1 minute procedure to clip the wires, and she’d already been dealing with it for over 2 days! So availability is horrible, communication is horrible (not good at all on updates, what’s next, or what to expect, etc), they don’t let you go back to see what’s going on or to even be able to ask questions, and they don’t have flexibility for school hours.

I got a note last year because my high schooler missed too many classes and it was pretty much all due to appointments for his braces or having to go back in due to issues with his braces. I recently got a note they think my middle son will need braces. I did my research this time and took him to a different orthodontist, and the difference I saw in just one appointment was HUGE! They were SO much better!!! I’m really kicking myself for not doing my research!
